miss_corerupted if your bro is moving to america you want him to send you some scrapbook stuff from there it is really cheap and their is so much choice.

I find what i want tell my bro and him and his wife find it and send it plus anything else they think i'd like .

You are so lucky! I've got a friend who lives in the states and have asked her to get me a few bits and I've bought things from ebay.com and had them sent to her house but I feel I can only ask her to do the odd thing. If my brother lived over there I'd be giving him huge, huge lists of stuff!!!

Yeah, they seem to have much more choice over there. Don't know anyone in America:mad:

I'm miffed !!! Am I daft or what ????? Just tried to cover black photo album with this lovely paper I bought yesterday from the craft shop and ended up with one piece tearing allover the place:eek: Thought I'd be clever and save my pva glue and use the rest of the wallpaper paste from covering my boxes the other day.................wallpaper paste and this paper just didn't like each other one bit ! Got one side done but now got to buy another sheet of paper !!!! Grrrrrrrrr!!!!!
Only saving grace is that I managed to salvage part of the torn paper for card making......................lol

Rant over...........sorry:o (but don't you just hate it when things go wrong)

Yep Mary I think one of my decorated boxes will end up in the bin- what a waste of nice paper!

I thought of you at the time..............I could so easily have chucked the whole lot in the bin.......................lol Might leave it now so its got paper on the front and a plain black back.
As for my little Cappacino boxes..........well I'll do them tomorrow (I think)
I want to cover them, punch two holes in each side at the top and thread some ribbon through so they're like the gift boxes/bags you can buy...........(she says hopefully)

I thought you finished off your box................or was there another one that you gave up on ? Oh melissa don't give up............I've shelved mine till tomorrow but I'm determined not to give up...........not now the kids and OH have asked what I'm up to and I've told them..............lol They'll have a private chuckle at my expense if I pack it all in now and I'm not giving them the satisfaction..............lol

I did make two. The first one I had a bit of trouble with but I really like it now (the one with the fairy decoupage on). The 2nd one looked easy but turned out to be a monster in disguise. I've abandoned it on a table, and every time I walk past it I get angry (I feel like I'm going to turn like the hulk). So I think it might be better if I erased all memory of it!

Put it in a cupboard out of sight then have a look at it in a few weeks......when you're in the right mood..................lol I have to actually feel like I really want to do it otherwise I just know it'll all go wrong.........lol
Just been looking for labels to put on these jars with all these sayings in...........can't find anything suitable but I bet I've got some card 'images' stashed away that would do the job just as well. So, just wasted my time...........again !................:rotfl:

I don't have any cupboard space Mary - its taken up with all of my card making stuff!! I've just poached another drawer for my materials in the coffee table, (hope the OH doesn't notice). I really need a bigger house! trouble is I don't want to waste any more paper on it.
