Hi
Saw these on whsmith and ordered one as free postage, I'm a beginner at scrapbooking but thought they seemed quite a good deal and you can go via quidco!

Got an email today about a free trial of an online scrapbooking magazine and reduced subscription rates. The magazine can be viewed here and there are some patterned papers that I think can be printed...

Calling all experienced scrappers!!!
I would like to learn to use chalks........
So obviously I have to start by buying them. But I've noticed there are different types. For example, I found one called "fluid" chalk... So I guess what I'm asking is, what are the different chalks like/for?
Then maybe I can make my mind up and buy a set...
Hope you can help me, and thanks in advance

I think it depends on what you want to use the chalks for. Ordinary ones are OK (but messy) for chalking the edges of papers, giving definition to card etc. I have never used fluid chalks but assume you can use them the same way. Its anything goes really when it comes to scrapping so if you are 'arty' you will find other ways to use any material. I'm not particularly and prefer to use lots of patterned papers rather than create my own although I do ink mostly all the edges of papers. I would choose the ones you like the look of and experiment.Mortgage and Debt free but need to increase savings pot. :think:0

Two years ago I did a scrapbooking course and the teacher lent me a cd with loads of pictures on and different styles of letters (fonts) to use that I printed out. Is there a way to find things like that for free on internet or do I need to go and buy a cd?0
