We are going away on a special holiday and I thought it would be nice to combine a daily diary with some relevant photos, so I thought digital scrapbooking might be the answer, but I haven´t done anything like that before and I just don´t know where to start. Any ideas, examples, experiences, suggested formats, sites or free downloadable programmes would be helpful please.
Thanks

thought I'd pop by and say hello - I too post at ukscrappers. I love it - they also do cybercrops with classes online which are really inspiring. I loved the idea bout journal jars thank you Mrs Bones. I've only read a few pages at the start and end but will try and keep up with this thread. I have some scrapbook pages on my homepage - if you would like to have a look.
Sandy how about having the people you're going on holiday with to do some journalling for you? that can be pretty inspiring0 -
Oh I am such a numpty !:(
Ordered some scrapbook papers so I can start on scrapbook for me and OH........they arrived today and I forgot to order any of the plastic see through inserts to go in it ! I've googled and come across all sorts of 'inserts' and some of them seem a bit expensive...............any ideas of the cheapest place to find them.............I'm after 12" x 12":)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Seems like they are about £5 for 10.
Best I could find was on ebay £16.50 for 50. I think I got mine from QVC in bulk, but they don't seem to sell them anymore. Depends how many you want.
This thread has pretty much died down
I barely post anymore as helping_hubby as I had a baby and set up a new user for that (didn't want friends knowing I was TTC and they know this username).
I'm struggling to find time to do much scrapping, but I still go to my Scrapaholix group and have just 2 more pages to do for my 2010 scrapbook, then I can move onto 2011, finish my wedding scrapbook and start a baby one! By which time it'll be 2015 probably0 -
Hi
Mary-op, what about a album with the inserts already in, if you have a TK Maxx near you you can pick them up really cheap, I got complete American Crafts kits including the album for £5.00, they also do albums starting around £4.99. HTH0 -
Thanks both of you.
The nearest TKMax is 20 miles away and I can't get there.
I don't want to get another scrapbook with inserts in as I've got a nice one that OH bought me-don't think he realised it would need inserts.
I'll google again and see what I find...........need about 20 I thinkI would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Whats the best kind of glue to use? I want to stick photos and other bits into a scrapbook (bought from boots). Is Pritt stick strong enough, or should I use glue dots??? i think that's what they are called.:)0

Double sided tape or anything that is acid free0
-
Forget Pritt and other stick glues, eventually they dry off and everything falls off....0
