I've finally finished my "Mrs Weasley" type crochet sleeves, and am in the process of writing out the pattern! It's now up for sale
and I've a list of lovely girls from USA wanting to buy it. SO proud of myself, just had to share.

Hi guys! exciting thread!! im getting inspired again.
I wonder if any of you can help me. My problem is (and its the same with knitting) that i can do it- but ive been shown how to do it by someone else not from a book. So while I can just sit down and crochet a scarf....i cant read a pattern! So i want to learn how to make like a little rosette (saw instructions on the net) but i just cant understand all the numbers and abbreviations!! can anyone help?0 -
Jessica, have you had anyone contact you regarding help? Now that I've literally JUST finished typing up the pattern for the "Mrs Weasley" type crochet sleeves - taken me a MONTH so I'm feeling well chuffed with myself - I can probably spend a little time helping you if you need it.

I self-taught as a teenager and still love doing it. I also embroider with a crochet hook - put sequins on etc, all with a crochet hook and using a chain stitch. And preferably on very thin materials e.g. silk, chiffon, etc.
I can teach - any takers?0 -
I do the crocheting too, and have done since I was a little lass. I can only do squares though, but would love to make something more useful0
