yes in kettering there are a couple - so you can imagine how annoyed I was when I got the pump only to find that some b'tard had glue the petrol flap shut..............ended up getting no petrol and going to buy a crow bar to get it open ...................and now a lockable petrol cap and paint to repair scratches..............not happy and to top it all they are threatening to do it all gain next week putting my 4 day camping holiday in jeopardy. Would not mine so much if it was a fuel protest as opposed to a salary protest when they already earn a damn good wageI am responsible me, myself and I alone I am not the keeper others thoughts and words.0

And, of course, the good old BBC were attempting to stoke up the frenzy on the TV news this morning.0

DH filled up yesterday (diesel) £90:eek:
I filled up a couple of days ago;)
Lots of garages around here have no diesel left. I suspose diesels are often used by work vehicles & they are playing safe & possibly they have bigger tanks too.0 -
As what happened last time when Freda work in Sains. It is not petrol or bread everyone should panic buy. It is toilet paper to wipe their botties with that will run out first.
Let us panic!0 -

You can mock.
But how you going to get to work if you run out?
As I said, most garages around here DON'T HAVE diesel left.0 -

Hi
Last night my local petrol station had no petrol or diesel. We went for a curry in the nearest town and the petrol station was actually shut at 8pm as was the station in the next village.
The wierd thing is there aren't any Shell stations around here.So people must have been panic buying. I have an 8th of a tank which won't last me long:rolleyes: .
