My son tells me there are queues forming for petrol in the West Mids, is this happening anywhere else?

Filled my tank up this morning at 7:15AM - the garage I stopped at had no queues, but only had the 'super unleaded' petrol, and none of the 'ordinary' unleaded."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

Tesco in Chesterfield had no diesel and no unleaded this morning, so there were queues at the Sainsbury's close by, but not long queues - just more than you'd normally see on a Friday morning.0

Well we have to drive a looooooooooong way tomorrow morning, so there better not be loonatics panic buying, as the car won't get there on fresh air!!
Didn't see any big queues on my way home from work though, so hopefully it'll be fine.
Ironically it's only Shell garages, which accounts for only 10%, so if others are running out, we really do have a nation of hypochondriacs!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
There was hardly anyone at the jet station we went to tonight and the asda we passed on the way was emptyNeeding to lose weight start date 26 December 2011 current loss 60 pound Down. Lots more to go to get into my size 6 jeans0

Our Asda is always running out diesel anyway, as only 1/3 of the pumps have diesel in them for some reason!
I did a shop at Tesco last night and filled up afterwards at 11pm, but had to queue.
At Sainsburys today, they were queueing all round the car park.0 -
No panic buying yet.
Firstly you need to get a mortgage to fill your tank up and the banks are`nt lending any money at the mo.0 -

You're not joking! I've got a large tank, and can't fill it up if it's empty. At Asda and Tesco, the pumps cut out at £80 - that's not enough to fill my car!0 -
