    Hi all

160: I think we are planning to go there Fri. 4th March for 1 night, and once someone volunteers to collect cheques you will need to send yours (for £14.50) I presume - that's all I know for now!

Chris25: I think we are classed as independent travellers as we are not booking their catering (other than the breakfast which is included in the price) so we will be able to use the kitchen.

Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

March 4th is my sons birthday - so I am not able to commit to this date - having said that 'cos I am not far away from York it might be that I could join you later on for a few hours and return home to sleep-
lPlease don't change the date on my behalf cos i still might be able to join you even if not for long I just won't be able to commit till nearer the time so I think you'll probably be best doing your figures not including me in them if you don't mind and then i'll see if i can manage to meet up with you for a short while nearer the time. :)

Nah Spendless, we can do the 11th March instead, it is still a good date for everybody if I recall from the poll and it would give you an opportunity to spend as much time as you want with us!

Nothing is defined yet so really we can adjust it until it is set in stone then we cannot adjust it anymore!

11th March is fine for me too. I assume you now mean meeting on Friday (what time have you got in mind?) and having an evening meal together?

Fran, I think that everyone arrives at whatever time they can, during the day/evening and then we all meet up at the hostel for dinner, is 7-ish pm a good time to eat? I would be happy to be there from say, 5 pm helping with the cooking.

In a prev. post I suggested veg soup, bread (bought!) and ham or cheese, salad and fruit or fruit salad - how do people feel about this menu?

I can shop in York once I am there but would need help to carry the stuff.

Then, whatever it costs, I can divide it by the number of persons eating and share the costs. Does it sound fair?

Wine/other booze: each to bring their own and share or hog as per individual preference.

    Yeh?
