Hehe yea Eddy is a bit of a scary guy. I think he is meant to be a zombie or something. He always look different though for each album so sometimes he doesn't look as scary as that picture lol.
My other half loves zombie movies and stuff so this will appeal to him hehe.
I spoke to my brother today and he just so happens to be going into the town with the shop that has the cheap canvas so he is going to get me one saving me another job hehe. Saving hard for a brighter future!:beer:0 -
Have ordered some wooden shapes, want to do some gift tag and possibly a 'name/DOB' type plaque for my friends baby.
Whats the best paint, varnish and pens to use?

I remember having read a couple of posts a while ago (probably on different threads) where a number of you talked about having made keyrings from Cath Kidston fabric. I'd love to have a go but I've searched on google for a noddy guide or pattern but I can't find anything. I'm a beginner at sewing - can anyone give me some advice or point me in the direction of a website that will help. Or any pictures to inspire me?
Thanks so much for your help

Thanks for that, the hobbyu paints sound ideal.
Any idea what pen i could use to write on them? Don't think i'd manage to paint names and dates that easily!Slightly worn out mum to 3 (DS1 May 03, DS2 Feb 05, DD1 Feb 08). When i grow up i think i'll become a UN Peace keeper....0 -
Hi Shaz!
That sounds like a good back up plan if it goes wrong at the painting stage! My brother is getting me the canvas from a local shop to where he lives called Scooby Doos lol. I don't know of the price as I haven't brought one this big before hehe.
I'm off craft shopping tomorrow! Hoping to stock up of blank cards and bits and bobs! Although I was thinking that it may be cheaper online, anyone know of any cheap craft shops online? Saving hard for a brighter future!:beer:0 -
