Really pretty pin cushion shaz-mum-of-2. Did it take you long to do? Great stitchery too, I wouldn't have a clue on where to start with something like that.0

shaz - you must have some patience. I could never do a litle pin cushion like that and I love the picture. Wouldn't mind having a go at something along those lines for my friend but wouldn't know where to start............lol
Well, been to a boot fair and got a cork memo board for 50p to have a go at covering and turning into a french memo board...............do I need to put some wadding over it first or just add the material ?Mary

I've also got 120 cards to make for boxes of card for pressies as well!! Saving hard for a brighter future!:beer:0

I have been inspired! Not sure who it was who was making sock monkeys? ... Well anyway I have bought 2 pairs of over the knee goth stripey socks, one in pink and black and the other in blue and black (one for son one for daughter) and plan on teaching myself how to use the sewing machine my dad bought for me for christmas
Can I ask though, what do you stuff them with? The pink one I need to be careful as she is only 13 months old and so needs to be babyproofRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
I will be doing baskets and hand made cards as usual this year. I have already started picking up nice little bits and pieces in sales and special offers etc. that I know each person would like. Mainly smellies but my Mum will get some dairy free goodies, the Grandads will get choccies and my BILTB will get booze. My young male cousin is science obsessed, so I am collecting science toys and novelties for him.:T The best things in life are FREE! :T0
