And mine, you are soo talented Mel!
I traveled to London this weekend to see family so made a sockmonkey on the train in an attempt at being productive, I got a few wierd looks! lol!
My list of gifts to make is getting a little shorter, lots of labels to make and more glass painting to do, but I must stop going shopping to buy more stuff!! I found some little fimo kits in woolies for 50p so will give that a go in the new year. Poundland also had some of the clear baubles you can open and put sweets in, 4 for £1 with mini candy canes in, much better value than boots who are charging much more than that!0 -
I did really well in Poundland on Sat.:j Melamine Christmas trays make a great hamper base, good quality Christmassy mugs with spoons attached, just waiting to be filled with something, and what I thought the best buy - hot water bottles that I'm knitting covers for, using oddments of wool (I found the patterns on a thread somewhere - here?
but you could just Google them). At this rate I'll have change from the £50 I allowed myself for gifts (DH suddenly redundant so pulling in belts and everything else!!) Found the best way not to overspend is to put the kitty in a little purse and only use for presents, keeping it away from the housekeeping - that way I can keep track of it. (It's the little ideas that seem to work the best!).

OH is forecasting bad weather for tomorrow (don't ask how he knows...........lol) so come Thursday I just must have a look in our woolworths and see if they've got some of that Fimo stuff............never used it before and it'll give me something to play with over Christmas.......lolMary
I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !
