  • I finally finished my first present last night. He's a little sock monkey for my boyfriend, I hope he likes him! I foolishly used toe socks instead of real socks so I made some extra work for myself, but at least I could use a couple of the toes for the ears and another for the tail! I'm actually feeling quite proud now!

I put together my three pamper hampers last night and even without the flannel cupcaeks they looked great. My DH couldnt' believe it when I told him how cheap they were - luckily we get beauty sales here at work (amgazine) so I got lots of top end cosmetics and bath stuff etc cheaply. Also got my wicker hampers free. WIll post pics later when I've finished them.
  • that little monkey is so cute, i'm just about to start mine wish me luck!!!!!!

mel, everything you touch just turns out so beautiful, I know you're a very talented lady but also along with that you have such a flair for just putting the right things together and it just looks so right and so stunning.
Oh and in case you didn't guess, I just love it. LOL

I finished the Christmas jumper for my boyfriend! Took me a while (about two months) and it's the most ambitious thing I've ever knitted - I've only done hats, scarves, and mittens before!

It fits him though and I'm quite pleased with the way it turned out - just naff enough for the purpose!
