havent been on for a while, been in the sort of mood where i cant really be bothered to do anything, have just found out i'm pregnant and i'm really worried as my son was still born in march this year so i'm really excited and worried and trying to take things easy, got all my pressies sorted and just need to finish making the bits for my imps xmas eve box, took me all week to get round to making the crayon cakes and now they are just sitting on my desk lol
asc - i made my imps pj bags and i litually got a large rectangle of fabric and folded it into quarters, sewed round 3 edges snipped the 2 bottom corners turned it in the right way, threaded some ribbon through the material, tied it in a knot at the end and pulled it so it closes, hope that makes sense which it probably doesnt lol hth13 in 2013 challenge 9/130 -

Well, my first xmas fayre yesterday went...ok i guess.
I made about £35 take £15 out of that for the stall so £20 not bad for just over 2 hours.
I sold out of the perfect man gingerbreads, sold a few of the snowman soups and snowman poops, yule log flannel cakes went well and the flannel cupcakes and a few people took some nappy cake leaflets but almost everyone admired them which meant such a lot to me.
I've got another on the 13th December and if i only make about the same again then that would be nice. My prices were:
Snowman Soup: £2.25
Perfect Man 75p
Yule log flannel cakes £1.99
Snowman poop 75p
Flannel cupcakes £1.50
Gingerbread hearts that i had iced xmas themes on 50p each
I was set up just opposite a much bigger (and more professional looking) craft stall and they were selling reindeer food, they had used glitter and i was soooo tempted to shout out...THAT'LL KILL THE BIRDS
Good job i have self restraint0 -
How old are the kids?? What sort of fabric have you got?
Pooky - they are 7 (girl) and 4 (boy). I've got some organza type pink fabric for her (leftover from another project) and some plain white cotton to use as lining to that, and camouflage (sp?) for him.
Maria - thanks for the suggestion, if yours turned out ok I shall probably give that a go, my sewing skills are more adequate than good! Many congratulations on the pregnancy, fingers crossed it all goes okay this time. I can sympathise with feeling excited and terrified at the same time. Try to take it easy at least early on - not easy when you're already running round after imps!
