zimm190 just brilliant, for someone who only did hats and scarves you've taken to it like a duck to water.

Thanks for all the nice comments about the jumper! Just hope my boyfriend likes it as much!

Got off to a ropey start, some odd-looking pics of the work in progress here:

Soblivion, I've hinted to my mum that I'd like a new knitting book for Christmas, this could be the one!!

I finally finished The Christmas Alphabet felt book I have been making for my niece last night. I shall post the results when I get home from work! I'm really pleased with it and how it's turned out. It's been lots of fun to make but I've grown quite attached to it, I almost don't want to give it away!

Started sticking the pages in the colouring book last night too!

I'm feel really disorganised though, I only have 2 weeks until everything has to be sorted, and somethings need sorting for tomorrow. I've also got about 4 evenings where I don't have anything planned in which to do it all. Scary!

I finished the Christmas jumper for my boyfriend! Took me a while (about two months) and it's the most ambitious thing I've ever knitted - I've only done hats, scarves, and mittens before!

It fits him though and I'm quite pleased with the way it turned out - just naff enough for the purpose!

You should be hugely pleased, it's gorgeous, well done :T

  • Ooh these are fab gag gifts I have found on a website, I like this one too...

Using a small wooden/plastic/paper circle with 'TUIT' written on it.
Then print this verse and attach..

    The tap that leaks,
    The hinge that squeaks.
    The crack in the door,
    The hole in the floor.
    You said you'd do it,
Just as soon as you could
    get around to it.
Now the round tuit is here,
    So my friend never fear,
You'll have all the time to do it,
Since from this day you can't get
    away with the excuse,
WHEN I GET A ROUND TUIT.
God is good, all the time
Do something that scares you every day
