can i ask what scratch cards people have been getting for the pots of gold ? thanks

My local Sainsburys had the Christmas scatch cards in, they were the £100,000 ones and were green and red and the foil had Xmas puds, trees, santa hats and such on.
I am REALLY pleased with my pots of gold, well actually mugs of gold. Poundstretcher had some really nice Santa and Snowman mugs for £1, Netto had gold coins 49p each net and Aldi had bags of gold toffees for 39p. I also got a bag of mini crunchie bars for 99p so all in all with the scratch cards I reckon they have cost me £3.69 to make.

Ive been lurking on this thread for a while as I am on Maternity leave. I LOVE all of the fantastic ideas, saving some pennies this Christmas will really be useful.
:TThank you everyone for your inspiration X X
Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700

These are mine Mary (I used scrunched up tissue in each so I didn't need to fill the bowls with chocolate coins ;) )...

Thanks, I've been looking for a nice Xmasy mug and haven't been able to find one...at a price I'm willing to pay ;)

I bought some small clear plastic Xmasy bowls and tumblers from Morrisons yesterday - BOGOF so you get 2 for 99p, The bowls would make great pots for pots of gold. I've bought them for us to have our cereal in on Xmas morning, am I sad...? Please don't answer that one :rotfl:
