Thanks, I've been looking for a nice Xmasy mug and haven't been able to find one...at a price I'm willing to pay
I bought some small clear plastic Xmasy bowls and tumblers from Morrisons yesterday - BOGOF so you get 2 for 99p, The bowls would make great pots for pots of gold. I've bought them for us to have our cereal in on Xmas morning, am I sad...? Please don't answer that one :rotfl:
thats the ones i got rainmacdidnt notice they were bogof til i got home tho glad i bought in 2's lol they are worth the money going to use them for pots of gold i think

Rainmac - your pots of golds are lovely!!
Calling all crafters - I've seen a lovely idea where instead of giftags, you use a ceramic heart/star etc. in festive colours and write the receivers name on it, then they can hang it on the xmas tree as a decoration afterwards. However they were £8 for 3 shapes....and I need about 12
So...anyone got any ideas on how to make ceramic (or something similar) hearts and stars? I'm thinking Fimo and cookie cutters, but if anyone can advance on that I'd be all ears!!! A bit like the pic above but a bit more rustic and a bit less polished!!
Also anyone got any ideas for the cord??
:ABeing Thrifty Gifty again this year:A

Thanks stormbreaker, funny you should say that, I am thinking of maybe doing one next year using lots of the ideas I've found out about this year. I would hate it is nobody bought anything but it may be worth a go to see and I've got a year to prepare myself for the humiliation. Nearly all the things I've done have come from ideas others have generously put on this board
 If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
