For some pretty tree decorations (wouldn't use them too far in advance as they might get sticky) you can lay plasticine out on a baking tray and cut out festive shapes, like stars etc, then you put smashed up boiled sweets in the gaps, leaving a little dot of plasticine for the thread. You bake them in the oven at 190 C for 5-10 until the sweets melt and leave them to cool.
You can also do this using biscuit dough instead of plasticine, making a cut out in the middle of each biscuit for the sweets, would look lovely on a tree or in a cellophane bag as a present.God is good, all the time

Yay, I made my first sock monkey, made his ears too small so the stitching is bit messy but quite proud of him, I didn't make him for anyone in particular, I just wanted to make one as everyone else was! Now I'v decided that my boyfriend is going to have him, poor guy!
I sewed together two thin fleeces to make one warm one, they weren't big enough to do the no sew thing and my stitching is very wonky but it's only for me so nevermind!
I also started making a wreath out of puzzles but doesn't look anywhere near as good as the instructions, it was really difficult sticking them all together! doubt it will be good enough to give as a gift, grrrr!
I organised all my gifts and as usual I have too many for a couple of people and not enough for others!
I'm all set for more glass painting tonight, hope to get a few finished.

maria love your roman blind. I would love if money/time allowed to do a blind/curtain making course as we only have one set of curtains in the whole house. Luckily our house is set back and we don`t face directly onto neighbours ... shock horror huh !!
Slighty peeved i didn`t go into au naturale yesterday as the ribbon sounds lovely. Also it was 20 % off everything there !
I did buy the new christmas craft book however, but not sure i`ll keep it. If anyone doesn`t get the Sunday mail i`ll happily send off some of the makes that were featured in the magazine to them.:D
mary43 how much do you want to spend re diaries i`ll keep a look out for you? I bought one in clearance at whsmiths online pink leather and got the extra 20% off deal that is running.

I'm pretty certain you can get them in poundland, actually have seen some nonslimline ones for £1 so sure the others would be cheap enough to warrant being in there

i have asked my hubby to get the scratch cards for pots of gold. woolworths have got 50% off marked price on crockery range, so i picked up 2 bowls for £1 each. i know my maths isnt great but they had £4 lable on shelf - 50%= half, which in my making should have £2 each, but i'm not complaining!due to spilling coffee :coffee: on my keyboard it works when it wants to :rotfl:
