Hi everyone, well today went out and bought 12 flannels adn bars of soap from Tesco for reindeer, six mugs (tesco) 50p each also chocolate chips and mini marshmallows (ttesco) - can you tell i,ve just been for my weekly shop, but they told me they no longer sell the large bags of mini marshmallows there - instead they only had dr oetker at 1.29 for a small box! any ideas where I can get a large bag of them from? Also on the thread at the beginning somewhere I think someone mentioned making pj bags??? does anyone know who, or have a link to a site how to make them? tired looking myself but search only comes up with ready made!

brookeslay - no I;m not making a tea towel.................my sewing skills aren't up to that but there were some lovely images on some of them.

Well, got sons 'safe-keeping' jar all done and my scented baby shoes...........I'd done them in camouflage kiddy socks and they stretched so much they looked like sausages, so I emptied them out leaving just enough in the bottom end of the sock, folded the surplus sock over and popped them inside the little boots with the teddy faces on. Elastic bands round the top of each one and a brown shoe lace to tie them together - little verse and that was one pair done.
The other pair were a little pair of baby suede shoes.........bit trickier but wasn't going to be beat - rolled up a loo roll middle (very versatile these loo roll middles........lol) to the right size..........popped in the sock I'd emptied earlier so there was just enough to fill the foot, then shoved the loo roll middle down the rest of the sock so it looks like a pair of beige boots with green camouflage socks - like little legs......................lol Black boot lace to link them together, little tag and thats that !
Took ages it did.............began to wonder whether it was worth it but I got two novelty pressies for £1 so I think it is. It'll make my kids laugh anyway
    (I hope)..............lol

Didn't need to add anything else to the lavender as by the time I'd emptied the socks out there wasn't enough to knock me sideways...............lol
    Mary

I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !

Wow mary they sound great! I'm still working on the cross stitch but I only have cross stitch gifts left to make. Oh and the reindeer for the school that my mum works at. I've made 18/40 so far so not too bad although they need to be finished for tomorrow as me and the OH have changed which day we are going up to see them all!
