Thanks for all your lovely comments. I hope my niece likes it. I'm planning on making a little bag in matching fabric to go with it, and include a colouring book, which I also might make, but I might buy, it depends how much time I have.

I also had a Tiny Tears, and a Tiny Tim! I think Tiny Tears was my main Christmas present at 6 years old!
  • really think crayon roll is wicked!-thought of starting selling them???!!!

Wow, Tiny Tears! That brings back memories. I had the 'Teany Tiny Tears' and my older sister had 'Tiny Tears' . I loved it, my favourite doll.
In fact, as I was only 3lb 12oz when born, my mom used to knit my baby clothes using a knitting pattern for 'Teany Tiny Tears. :rotfl:

Nemo, how lovely is that crayon roll, you've picked some gorgeous fabric there, your niece is going o be made up with it.

Rufusdog I've not made a monkey so I'm not sure what size they are but would these free patterns fit it?

If anyone crochets, a lovely lady called darski does some lovely free patterns also and if you do and the above are too big she also does some dora explorer size ones too.

    Hi All?

How is the crafting going? Still working on the cross stitch tiger for my sister. Realised this morning how far behind I've got and so I had a sort through some stuff and am now ready to order the last bits I need for making stuff.
Really need to get a move on with those flannel bits though as I haven't made a single one yet!!

Really don't know where I will find the time though as last night I found out I got a job at Tesco so that may take up some of my time as its early shift!

Congratulations on the job siren :D:D:D:D Will eat into the crafty time though but just think of the extra £ ;)

My crafting stuff isn't going that well. Finished off another cross stitched coaster to go with a teacup and bits. Need to pull my finger out as I want to stitch something for my m&d for Xmas and make cards and maybe stitch one or two things for me for home. Got several reindeer to make and other things I can't remember right now. Ohhh, need to update my to do list I think and start working through it!

Oh by the way bought some really lovely clear baubles to put photos in from Boots today, set of 4 for £6. Thought the price was high but I used points so they were free. I'm going to add photos of my boys and keep one bauble for our tree and give the others as pressies. Something that will hopefully last forever.

Well it has probably cost me a fortune in petrol, but for the life of me I cannot find any 'small' marshmellows, so have had placed some larger ones in the cup.
Do you think it looks a bit silly with them being large  Especially as I was planning on selling them on my stall tomorrow ???
