sandy - I've used two gravy granule tubs already (ooops - sorry -three !)
One's covered in sunshine patterned paper with a smiling sun on the lid - thats for 'canned sunshine' - going to fill it with sherbet lemons or some other yellow sweets - teenage grandson
One is covered with rainbow patterned paper, butterfly on the lid and going to be filled with rainbow drops or some sort of multi coloured sweets for 'canned rainbows' - teenage grandaughter, sort of 'silly' pressie
I used one for the 'magic reindeer food' fr baby grandson to put out on Christmas eve. Covered it with gold paper and stuck label on and reindeers head on the lid.
Was going to use the other for snowman soup but then found snowman mug I forgot I had so using that instead. Thats also for Christmas eve.

The next one is going to be a 'pot of gold'................youngest foster lad suggested filling it with money and it gave me the idea of filling it with chocolate money covered in gold paper.
Not sure who's getting that one yet...............lol

    yey yo using cheap vodka.

Those cards are ace... I can't really make them that well :(

Mentioned the skittle vodka to a couple of girls at work and have gotten roped into making them some (although they are providing me with some of the glass jars and bottles that I will need so that be a fair trade hehe)

What a great thread! Shame I don't have time to read all the posts. I'm not very crafty and would struggle with most of the things here. However, I have some pink card packaging here that would make lovely bookmarks (already in bookmark shape & size) with a bit of crafty know how! Does anyone have any bookmark ideas, that don't involve buying loads of crafty stuff!!

    thanks.

I promise a lot of the things are easier than they look or are described. Give it a go and then you'll be hooked too!

Could you do personalised book marks with name/ date/ message etc? Shape the ends?

Here is some snowman soup I put together today....

I used enough instant hot chocolate, choc chips and marshmallows for 2 servings. The candy canes are stuck on the outside of the cello bag with tape. Think they look quite good, what do you think?

Trying to get myself a bit more organised as December isn't that far off now is it and I promised myself I would be done and dusted by the end of November (apart from anything I can't do until the last minute). Sorted tags for some pressies yesterday...

These are for reindeer food, ball of life (thanks candy!), pots of gold and biscuits for Santa and I printed a little Xmas story book from internet featuring my 2 boys - it's very cute ;)

Feel a bit more in control of what I've got left to do now!

I'm only making them for nearest and dearest so I may only have to make about 10. rainmac you look super dooper organised - the snowman soups look fab - I'd be thrilled getting one of them and if I seen one at a craft fair I would buy them.
