I'm only making them for nearest and dearest so I may only have to make about 10. rainmac you look super dooper organised - the snowman soups look fab - I'd be thrilled getting one of them and if I seen one at a craft fair I would buy them.

Can I ask where you got your backing paper on the red card. It is lovely :D Likewise with you, if I saw your cards at a fair I'd buy them ;)

Here is some snowman soup I put together today....

I used enough instant hot chocolate, choc chips and marshmallows for 2 servings. The candy canes are stuck on the outside of the cello bag with tape. Think they look quite good, what do you think?
    Wow Rainmac, they look fantastic.
I'm so jealous ...... still struggling to find the cello cones here.
I have been told where I can now find some rolls of cellofane, so keeping everything crossed that they will have them too ..... probably won't though!!! Not even sure yet, what sort of shop it is .... or the exact location !!! Could be a long trip out.

These are for reindeer food, ball of life (thanks candy!), pots of gold and biscuits for Santa and I printed a little Xmas story book from internet featuring my 2 boys - it's very cute ;)
Lovely labels rainmac, how many times did you have to reduce the font for the ball of life poem, I lost count of how many reductions and print off's that I did :rotfl: :rotfl:

Not only have I got to find the cello bags, I've just had a thought ...... I CAN'T FIND ANY SMALL MARSHMELLOWS over here either !!!!!

Oh come on ladies, please stop posting these fabulous ideas ...... you are gonna send me crazy !!!!
Can you imagine me trying to explain my problems ........ cello cones, small marshmellows, reindeer noses :rotfl:

Oh well, better get back to wrapping some more 'toilet rolls' ..... stall number 2 tomorrow !!!

I bought the cellophane cone bags from here. 15 for £2.20 inc. p&p (can buy in bigger quantities if you want to make loads of cones!). The seller posted them really quickly. I used the snowman soup tags from this site (candy think you posted the link initially) printed them onto white paper and backed with red or green card.

Candy, could you cut bigger marshmallows down or squish a couple of large ones in? I typed out the wording for the ball of life rather than try and find the original wording. Just need to get tennis balls now!

They are honestly really easy (I like to make stuff but can't do anything difficult :p). I used the information on this site... http://www.essentialpackagingstore.com/projects/snowmansoup.php and printed my tags from here too. I bought the cone bags from ebay - link in my post just above this one. I used 2 servings worth of Cadbury's instant hot chocolate (8 heaped teaspoons), handful of chocolate chips (I used Supercook as had these in the cupboard already and use by is not until sometime next year) and 22 mini marshmallows (these were from Tesco I think). I did the double bag thing as mentioned on the essential packaging site to keep the hot chocolate powder in place. The red curling ribbon was from Ikea 39p for 50 odd yards - real bargain :D Candy canes were from Sainsburys.

    HTH :D
