Hi All!
Hope everyone's crafts are going well!!
I've only got my cross stitching here at the moment to do so I'm busy working on that. Hoping for another trip to HobbyCraft at the weekend! I'm trying to find a huge amount of aida at the moment but am not having much luck HobbyCraft didn't seem to sell bigger pieces.
I think my brain is realising I need to crack on as I had a dream last night in which I was buying the sweets to make up my bottles of flavoured vodka!! Saving hard for a brighter future!:beer:0 -

I think it's only been around for a few months but it's friendly...and a bit less 'cliky' than a few others.0

Hi all
Sorry to jump in to your thread but I have been reading it and it has made me really inspired to have a go .
I have made a few chutneys so I was going to make some Hampers and you have given me some great ideas. Wish I'd started earlier but never mind I will just have to work hard.
I thought this site might be useful to some of you . I found it whilst looking for a site I used to use called School Surplus.
This site is meant for Schools but If you look through you can buy items of small quantities. Some a really reasonably priced I am just placing my first order now havn't checked P &P yet but I will keep you updated . I have just noticed they are selling coloured cellophane quite cheap.

Its mainly in the Christmas area you get the smaller quantities0 -

Hi all!
Got some lovely cooking apples the other day and have found a great recipe for apple chutney! Only trouble is I need some jam jar lids and the ones on my jars went funny. Any idea where I can get some? Saving hard for a brighter future!:beer:0 -
They sell them in Lakeland Siren, or you could see if any friends could save you them? I asked my mum if she could and she got loads from her friends!
Do you think you could post the chutney recipe, I'd be interested in adding chutneys to my homemade food hampers.0 -
Hi nemotoad!
I thought Lakeland would sell them my only concern is making sure they are the right size! I know they say about internal diameter but am worried about how to measure it correctly!
I haven't tried this recipe yet but I got it here and they seem to think its good so I though it would be worth a try. I'm also making it for pressies for Christmas! If I get some lids soon I will make it up and let you know how it is.
