I wondered why I had an inescapable pull to the shop... Sorry, think I am a little daft sometimes. I actually went 2 days running, the first time I got lost trying to avoid the traffic in Sheffield and arrived after it was closed, I was gutted.
I love your boxes so much I am not sure where to start on mineAny pointers? Do you re-cover the back? I think I am going to have a think this weekend. I have a list now for each person aside from friends I will do £1 or £2 gifts for

Hi, i have made a few of my reindeers now but wondering how to wrap them - i dont want to buy anything expensive to put them in, but dont want to crush the antlers. Anyone got any cheap ideas?Me, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Just looking through the finished hampers thread from last year for some ideas and there is a recipe for Christmas Pudding Vodka (Good Housekeeping recipe). Mmmm.... I can just taste it now... That might have to be made and decanted into pretty bottles, obviously with a strict testing policy on a regular basis, don't want to poison anyone do we?God is good, all the time

Hi All!
Mary - if you think your Tesco is useless try mine. I went in there for some wrapping paper for the OH's birthday and they don't sell it!!
slm - most people that I know of who have made them have popped them in cellophane bags which I think you can get fairly cheap off ebay.
Sian - I am making vodka flavoured with different sweets for all the young men I'm buying for and there will be much testing of it!!
Got very excited last night! I remember to tell my OH that we have a Hobbycraft in Havant and he is much more willing to drive me there than Southampton! And there is a £4 off and £20 spend there in my Cross Stitcher mag so even better hehe. :j:beer: Saving hard for a brighter future!:beer:0 -
LOL :rotfl: luxor about buying 6 flannels
Went to asda and bought 6 wooden spoons - I could see the cashier looking at them - she must have been thinking 'what on earth does she need 6 wooden spoons for.(doing the nativity scene)
I have started my christmas cards this week - when I get my camera fixed I will post some pics. Not doing loads as I got a lot of cards cheap in Jan sales this year. Doing simple cards - cutting out purple stars on my cricut and raising them off the page with foam dots and then interspersing with silver peel off stickers and stick on gems. Simple but nice.:snow_laug0 -
Hi all, I haven't started my Xmas cards yet. Scattymam, I did the same and got loads of cheapie cards in the January sale as I know lots of the people I made cards for last Xmas didn't blooming appreciate it so they're not getting a made one this year. I've got cardstock, paper and embellishments, just need to get on with the making really! If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0
