Rainmac - your door hangers are lovely! My DH sounds the same as yours, everything I make is 'ok'! Don't let it get you down!!! We think your craft is great!!!
I want to start making some xmas cards, I brought nice nice papers the other day so may give it a go tonight.
I decorated a notepad the other day to, it's ok for my first attempt! I'll post a picture of it later when I get my camera sorted! I'd like to make a start on making some cards as well. May have a go tonight.

rainmac v- they are fab. i was looking at them and my son has just seen them (hes 4) and has just said 'mammy, wow! they really cool! I'd like a power rangers one please.' so looks like i shall also be attempting door hangers this year!
Also have to add - that i think we must all be sharing the same OH! Mine said exactly the same last year - i made all these nice hampers mostly for his family and he went - yeah they are okTime to find me again0 -
Well, when my OH got home he said "wow, these are really good, you'd pay a lot of money in a shop for soemthing like this" :j . And then said "this bit here looks a bit poor, needs tidying up..." . Well one out of two ain't bad especially as everything is usually "it's ok I suppose". I do actually agree I need to neaten one little bit of paper on one of the hangers

So a genuine positive comment - you could have knocked me down with a feather! :rotfl::wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -

sammy, I have a 4 yo too and he's into Transformers and Power Rangers and I was going to try and find something in either of those to make one for him for Xmas - I guess by Xmas he may well be into something else so I may wait to make his!!! :rotfl::wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
I am planning to make a boxes of cards for xmas gifts this year , I make cards anyway and have far more than I could use . But i have found a large size laundry tablet box to be the perfect size, i might even turn one into a recipie organizer for my nan.I am journeying to a debt-free life.
Our estimated debt-free date is January 2040. I'm on a mission to bring that date closer!

Hi wendy, I'd suggest making a list, that's what I did and it helped to get my head together about what I needed to do so could plan. I know I will deviate from the list and do a few things (or probably a lot of things :rotfl: ) a bit differently but the list will help get you started
