Wow I have been following this thread and you ladies are an inspirational lot!
I am loving the idea of some sort of scrap booking, the grandparents would love a photo one and might make them a gardening journal with some photos etc in but mainly concentrate on the cover. I really want to make a christmas one for my family and possibly one we can add to every year.
Thinking of doing some boxes for bits eg daughter loves pandas and son football so they could keep some of their photo's, drawings etc inside. Might do a journal for my mum like a prayer book as she would like to keep a record of who she's praying for. So many ideas and never even tried it before...it's all your fault!!
Now everywhere I go I'm thinking 'Oh I can use that srap of material/button/paper/font/photo/ribbon etc etc and not throwing anything away!!!
Thank you for all your ideas and I was lucky enough to find a set of srapbooking books in a 2nd hand shop and they are great and only cost £3 and packed full of ideas so I'm all set!!

Thanks all!0 -

Hi
Have studied the scrapbooking thread and the card craft thread and there are loads of fab ideas and clever people out there (or on here!!)
Will have to sort through all the crafting bits we have at home and keep some and get rid of what we won't use!!
DD age nearly 10 is interested in helping on my projects so it may become our hobby!!0 -

Mrs Mcawber could you make them out of salt dough. I have a friend who pops her salt dough garland back in the oven each christmas to dry it out.
