Hi all!
I'm finally back online after moving house! I'm so happy to be back on here and have spent ages catching up with all the crafty stuff.
I've yet to find a good place to get my cross stitch supplies from around here but have found a good shop for card and scrapbooking stuff.
I was wondering if anyone had any idea where I can get some cheap cross stitch supplies online and also metres of fleece material to make no sew blankets. What with the house move and all I'm seriously behind on my girt making and so need to pull my finger out and try and find some places in an entirely new area to source the stuff I need!
Thanks
Bekki
P.S.

Wow Pinkladymel that is really lovely well done, you are very talented!
Siren137 was just wondering where your card/srapbooking shop is as I'm not too far from you in Guildford?
Thanks0 -
Hi furrypig!
As you can see from my location I'm in Bordon and so is the shop. Erm...I've only been here a couple of weeks and I'm from Norfolk originally so if my directions are naff I'm sorry. Its on the same site as Maidenhead Aquatics and Country Market? I don't know if you know them. The name of the shop has completely escaped me (if I remember it I'll let you know) it has a nice range of embellishments and a good range of papers and so far (apart from the papermill in Portsmouth) its the only place like it I've found.

Well I totally love the "365" jars, would be great for lots of people. I know that IKEA do great kilner type jars for a pound and the printing would be negligible so that would sort out some cheaper presents.
I'd like to do some little 'girls night in' hampers for some girly friends. I figured a sachet of microwave popcorn, small hot chocolate sachet, a mix CD that I will make and make a cover for, some nail varnish and a face pack sachet. Anything else?God is good, all the time

Pinkladymel, that is just gorgeous, looks like it took ages to make, did it?
Siren, have you tried ebay for cross stitch threads? I get most of mine from there, cheaper than places like Hobbycraft. If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -

What about a 'turban' or hair wrap? I've seen these quite inexpensive in places that sell deodorants etc - we have a couple of shops like this, one in the market hall.
Toe separators?

I've bought 4 fleeces from Ikea to make 2 no sew blankets for my two boys. They have trim round the edge but I am going to cut that off... http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/70100713:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
