Just decided to do a variation of 365 quotes in a jar, will do a '365 jokes in a jar' for my brother. Had originally planned to give him the quotes one, but that is more suited to my sis, so now must trawl internet for some jokes that are only a few lines long and start printing/writing. Have a feeling it will end up easier than the quotes one proved to be.

Jokes, great idea! Let us know how you get on :D

Daylight robbery - when your tax was worked out by number of windows in your house people blocked them off

sleep tight - when beds had rope lattice which supported the mattress
weak go to the wall - in church people who were sick stood around the edge of church and used the wall for support

Shaz rather than typing could you not copy and paste? then at the end select all of the writing and change the font so it is all the same? would save some time surely?

Useful site shaz - I copied and pasted 365 quotes last night for my friend.........yet another 'gift in a jar'...............lol Blessed if I can remember which site I got them from but I just googled in 365 quotes and loads came up. It was the copying and pasting that took the time and I've lost count how many pages ....................lol

Popped out this morning and picked up a pack of 5 mens sports socks for £2 in primark - will use them for the sock snowmen.

Also got some more cream flannels (4 for £1.50 Primark) for the remainder of the flannel cakes.

Def going to do some of these with the boys http://crafts.kaboose.com/christmas-candleholder.html especially as i've stocked up on baby food jars in Sainsburys this morning lol.

First day of Autumn yester-yesterday! (wasn't it??) I am already thinking about christmas  I am trying to make as many presents as I can and have a more relaxed time this year. Last year I ran about like a headless turkey trying to make everyone happy but no one bothered for me.. learnt my lesson!
