I've just ordered mine and I'm not going to be paying extra for the multiroom as I shaved £10 off of my package. I was on the top package but with their new deals I was able to knock off the news channels (which took off Bloomberg, FOX news, SAW and CNBC but leaves BBC News 24, ITV News, Sky News and CNN - so what is the point of that package?) and the kids channels (which lost me the cartoon channels, Trouble, Nick range of channels - BUT leaves the Disney channels and the BBC kids channels - and my tot only watches CBeebies) and that reduced my payments by £10 per month.

what number did you ring to do this. As we have these channels and we never watch them. I wouldn't mind doing that.

This thread doesn't show as moved in the Grabbit forum, but clearly has been, nor can I see a post explaining why...
Thanks to all who post constructively.

We've just had our Sky+ (existing customer - NO multi room) installed for £49. Lovely. Phoned up and threatened to cancel about 3 weeks ago, they agreed Sky+ for £49 with no upping our subs or multiroom. But, we had to wait until today for installation. Worth the wait. I am going to pause my husband whilst I watch live tv - or something like that?

All I need to do now is get my Sky+ ordered. Just the whole phone call thing again, spent over an hour calling customer services for various companies already today (all on free numbers :o )

According to the Sky website you don't get SKy News or CNN without this mix.

Why are people not ordering on line via https://www.greasypalm.co.uk, they are payng you £25 for doing so. The length of time people have been on hold is riddiculous.

It may be time to order sky+ now for £49, but am pretty sure there will be a better deal just after christmas for people who are willing to wait a little longer.

I rang on the 0800 Disney number to change my mix, I held on for about 30 mins on that call. I rang on the 0870 number to order Sky + last night and wait time was "under 1 minute" but actually was around 3 mins.

I'm definately still getting Sky News and CNN without the news mix, I just checked again. Really only ever watch BBC News 24 though. I think you could shave off more if you dropped the music channels though but I like them on Sundays when the Radio is rather pants and I'm doing housework.
