so people who have had sky but left (like me), are we still entitled to the 49 quid deal with 3 months half price?
i would love to have sky plus and i'm missing sky one big time!0 -
get someone else on your house (if there is anyone else) to sign up - then yes you are entitled to the above offer.
Does anyone know where you can buy Sky plus boxes (not from ebay) and not upgrades - just buying the box??0 -
when I signed up for sky+ a few months ago, they told me I could have the multi toom for a tenner extra!, I am sure that this is still the caseRegards

yes the multiroom costs you £10 extra a month in subscription charges- it always has done. Shy plus ALSO costs you another £10 extra a month unless you subscribe to two or more premium channels0

Ive heard that sky are launching some new super dooper high definition service thing next year, you think thats why they're offering deals on their current equipment??
Im subscribed to skysports, and would love sky+, dont want the multiroom though.
Gonna give em a ring now and see what they offer, fingers crossed.0 -
Darn just told the Sky+ office shut at 11. Will try tomoz.0

Went through the process but after credit card details he told me it would be £99. I complained and he said £49 offer only available on internet! Confusing as I said you couldn't actually order via the net. He didn't know that and complained that he would have to go back two screens and enter the damn number in again!! Aaahhhh!
Eventually sorted, with delivery on Tuesday.
Thanks everyone. :j
That happened to me, the girl thought I wanted sky multi room for £99, I said no I want sky + with multi room, she said that will be £99 then, I then said your website says £49, she says o, puts me on hold. Wow then takes another 10 mins to order it up. Getting mine installed on Wed hehe.Kind Regards

So can someone help me out here have been with sky from day one but in 2004 stopped them as was travelling and so did not need it while away but since my return end of 2004 and start of 2005 i had planned to start sky again but i wanted sky+.
But as i had sky before they just would not give in to giving me a deal on it as the new customer price even when i was away from them in total a year and half but been a memeber since they started.
So i said who needs them.
I have since these past few months no longer have my sky box i had as it just did not have a pic anymore and im pretty sure my box packed in and was thinking of going for a freeview box instead but now that i see this might try again.
Now that i maybe offered this, which is weird as i just emailed main man and complained about all this sky+ stuff and prices this shows up,what are my best options to take and give me a rund down on monthly cost.
I do have a other room i might watch sky but this is not really important to me as monthly costs down are better but if i did take multi what am i given and what do i pay and if i dont take it what do i miss and pay less of.
would i be given two boxes one for the multi as my one and only box i have now does not work and would this be a wise option?
And if i dont take multi what channel package do i need to take to allow me not to have to have multi.
I need to know what i ask for when i call them up if i get this deal but i would prefer as said to keep my monthly costs down by not takeing multi but would if i was able to get a second box and maybe other stuff.
Any help would be great i am not sure what best for me now without multi or with multi i suppose its knowing the cost in advance with or without it.Treat everyday as your last one on earth! and one day you will be right.0 -
have just tried the 0870 no and was told i would be waiting 13 minutes....so i didnt...i want to know if there is any way they will let me hav a sky + box without the multi room....i already hav a 20% discount on my main package, but that does include 2 premium channels.
ps i tried the freefone no yesterday and the wait was 40 minutes and the lady at the other end tried to persuade me to call the 0870 no0 -
ukbill69 wrote:Well as you could sign up as a new customer and get sky + for £49, free install, 3 months free subscription, free sky + subscription. But you would have to stay in a 12 month contract, thats normal with anything like that. Emm with cheapest subscription you can get 2 mixes of channels without sky sports or movies here for £15 per month.
I hope this helps.0
