There's some guy "selling" information on ebay on how to get sky+ for £49 with no multiroom and the feedback certainly reflects lots of success and happy people - surely he can't just be telling via email "just say you want to cancel and they will agree"? Wouldn't buyers be a bit miffed if that was the case (he is charging £2.99)....is there another secret that we don't know?

Got a wee question bout the new sky deal . Im moving into a new home in a couble of weeks and need to get sky since im moving of a ntl network . Ok from what i see i need to get 2 packs . Say i get the kids and another pack for £15 a month . Couple of questions then . 1- is the half already reflected in the £15 or will it be £7.50 for 3 mths . Also if i want to pay the £49 and get sky plus it will also cost me another £10 per month . Ive sort of read up here and hear about people getting multiroom to get around the £10 charge for sky+ . Is that the case ? The way i see it sky + will cost me £49 ( equip charge ) and 2 packs £15 , total monthly charge of £25 and if i went multiroom it would be a total of £35 . Is the right or am i missing something with the multiroom charge absorbing the sky+ charge .
Let me know have i got my wires crossed .
    cheers

no the sky plus charge is not applicable if you subscribe to two or more premium channels which tend to cost about an extra £10 or less a month so it makes more sense to pay for them and get more channels rather than pay for the sky plus subscription

multiroom will still cost you £10 a month no matter what package or deal you get

ahh get what you mean . I might as well get the 2 premium chs cause i would be paying the tenner anyhow . The penny has dropped . Now the only problem i have is finding the premuim chs costing on the sky website . It only seems to list premuim mixs .
    any ideas on that ..

you can always phone or email and ask them cos you can change your package anytime you want so if you get the cheapest package deal that gets you multiroom for free and order it online (cos if you order online and go through https://www.quidco.com you get £30/£50 cashback) you can always upgrade or downgrade your package on the phone later

    i think premium channels are sky sports 1 or 2 or 3 or sky movies 1, 2 or 3 - I think

basically anything over £33 is classed as premium..

for example i have family package + sports = £36 or something similar.. i don't have to pay for sky + subscription now!
