Hi Cloe,
I was just looking back at this myself this morning. I also noticed two lots of £7.99 coming out of my account. I did nothing at the time but just cancelled the direct debit. Given all the PPI stuff i opted to go through my statements again and do as Google search on Policy Admin Services and found this thread.
I phoned my bank this morning. They told me they only kept records going back 6 years. they don't keep records beyond that.
My main query on this issue is where to send the letter. Previous posters have listed a Crewe address but a goolgle search says they now reside under Premier Plan at Policy Administration Services Limited. Registered in England No. 3907386. Registered office: Osprey House, Ore Close, Lymedale Business Park, Newcastle Under Lyme, Staffordshire ST5 9Q
Not sure where to send my letter now.0 -
Just found out I have been paying since July 2002 and all this time I assumed it was a bank charge for my premier account. Best I get onto them.0

I wrote to them here:

I wrote a kick-a** letter and got a long letter in reply. They offered to refund the entire two policies they have charged.
£400 ish back. I haven't actually seen the cheque yet so i'm not holding my breath.0 -
I don't do letters. I have the freephone number. First thing in the morning.0

To cancel your policy write to them at
Policy Administration Services Ltd
PO Box 99
Blyth
NE24 9DN
and remember to cancel your DD.
I called them today realising that I have been paying it since 2005! Thats about £600!!! I havent had the phone that was insured with them and I have moved house twice since then!
I told them I had written cancelling it in December but I only cancelled the Direct Debit the other day. They have refunded the 2 months from December to Jan. Better than a kick in the teeth I suppose.0 -
I just cancelled my direct debit. had used them for over a year but was paying only £2.99 a month.
I just cancelled the direct debit so it cancelled my insurance. So I do not owe them anything or debt collection because of it.
My term and condition stated if you did not pay your contract gets cancelled. So check the detail before you cancel like me as they may have changed.0 -
I discovered last week that I had this for 7 years @ £7.99 per month. Called them got fobbed off, no chance of any money back, so I asked for a copy of the original contract. Then I get to talk to customer services, now I have a refund of £519!
Do not take any flannel persist and you WILL get your money back. State that you were not aware that the insurance contract would continue to run after the phone contract had ended.0 -
