I'm beginning to wonder if I'm living on a different planet to you lot as I'm still sitting here now in just a short sleeved top, bare feet, with the window open and no heating on at almost 1.30am! ... and I'm NOT cold!!! :p
 I'm wearing fleecy jimjams & I'm still cold!

Have you been drinking? Alcohol warms you up ;)

Same here - had a t-shirt on and heating off all day, put heating on about 8pm until 10ish. 1:30 am now, still in t-shirt. Had salad (with cheesy mushrooms on toast) for dinner - too warm for winter food, but I hope it get's chilly soon because there's a bacon and blue cheese (gorgonzola) risotto recipe I want to try out. No barefeet for me though - kitchen floor is slate tiles, so I have me toasties on. :)

    I wish! LOL! :D

Noooo, having a drink means I'd have to have a ciggie and I can't have one of them cos my chest is bad today! And before anyone says it, I don't feel as though I've got a temperature or anything, so it's not that either :p

It's being a Yorkshire lass that does it, tough as old boots us lot are ;) ... and living down here in the south is like being in the tropics!!! :rotfl:

:rotfl: That must be it, I'm sure it gets warmer the further down the country you go! I'm just glad I don't live on the Shetlands

When i went to bed last night, the bed felt warm. As MrJudi was still awake, i asked him why. He tried to tell me he had lay on my side to make it warm but both he and i knew, he had put the electric blanket on.

I've got the same type of foam stuff on our hot water tank and wondered the same thing. I find that the water doesn't stay as hot in the winter but I don't know if you can put a jacket on top of the foam?

As far as I know, you can.

To find out for sure why not ask in the In My Home forum?

Not got my heating on yet but have warmed my bed up a couple of times with my leccy blanket :D I usually feel the cold a lot as I have bad circulation and my hands and feet go all numb  but luckily we live in a well insulated house, double glazed, replacement doors and windows, cavity insulation, loft insulation ,new roof and central heating!
i find we dont need the radiator on in the kitchen - would be too warm for my 3 doggies anyway. We have a coal fire in the lounge but havent needed to use it for the last 2 years but if we have power cuts will get it swept and use it again!
I like the idea of fleecy pj's i just love fleece and am aiming to get myself a cosy fllece blanket for snuggling up in infront of the TV in the evening ;)
    Do what you love :happyhear
