    Good afternoon,
I am just beginning to recover from Ds3s escapade at the weekend. Last time I posted we were preparing for a party for his 18th. Well, he is still alive, but, he drank so much that he was really ill and I sat up all night with him. Some 'bright sparks' brought xambouka, not sure of the spelling, and DS3 had loads of it! I rang NHS direct to ask what to do with him and they said we had to take him to A &E. We couldn't get a car out so I volunteered to sit with him. He hasn't left the sofa since.

I am not cleaning up the mess that he and his friends left and the kitchen and living room floors need a good clean. He has promised to vacuum after lunch!

DD, as always, was the star, I found her cleaning the kitchen at 3am. on Sunday morning.

I am so pleased that was the last one to be 18. Now I have a houseful of 'adults'!!!

I am going out again today to see if I can get my back sorted out and have left flying to DS3.

    You won't regret it!

I haven't had a toaster for about 6 years as I got fed up with the crumbs getting everwhere and it's more space on the kitchen worktop. Am now trying to decide whether I really need a microwave.

    Here's my updated list
Mad Monday - Kitchen of Kreation
    Level One
[strike]Open the windows and let in the light[/strike]
    [strike]Clear and wipe the worksurfaces & table[/strike]

[strike]Wipe the little appliances and put them back in their homes[/strike]

[strike]Wipe over the cupboards and large appliances[/strike]
[strike]Clean out drawers and filters[/strike] that was a yucky job
    Level Three
    [strike]Sweep and mop the floor[/strike]

Shine the grotty windows - Window cleaner did the fronts on Friday and I can't get out the back at the moment as builders still digging out the pilings!
[strike]Drag everything out of the tins cupboard.. wipe it out and put back the bits you are keeping.. Get rid of the things you will never eat or incorporate them into your weekly meal plan!!![/strike] didn't do the tins cupboard though, I did the cutlery drawer and the tea/coffe/mugs cupboard

    Extras

    1. HHI - do this later!
    2. Fill a bag for charity shop - got rid of my charity shop bag last week

That did take me longer than I wanted but I had Tesco delivery and the mortgage surveyor turn up in the middle of it so not bad really considering I am the Queen of I'll do it later.

That was the first half of my hour challenge, i also cleaned out the birds, did the dishes and relocated junk to its rightful home. Had to fling open the windows because i am roasting!!! I am also sneezing my head off from emptying the hoover.

Oh poohbear...sounds like you've had a fun weekend. Hope he's well enough to start cleaning soon!!!

I had some terrible news this morning. A really special friend died on Friday night. He's been ill for some time but it's still really, really sad news. He died in his sleep. I've been wandering around doing nothing so I need to try and focus on something and stop thinking. Think i'll potter round the garden and pull up some weeds.

    Hugs to all xx

    Hi

I haven't stopped today. I've also been weeding the dreaded garden there's more weeds than garden:eek: thats what it feels like anyway.

    Happy Birthday Hippy

I'm going to finish packing my ebay parcels then it's back out in the garden. The lawns desperately need mowing but unless Ds2 goes to sleep i can't do them.
