  • How much do you pay for them anyway. Better to buy your own chicken, steak or turkey breast cut into strips or tenderise it and fry it. Much tastier and cheaper too I am sure.

But it's not so difficult to "forget" to put one's work uniform on in the morning. For those with brains, it should be easier than to rush around wondering what to wear.

My son works in Burger King and he takes his clothes in a holdall to get changed at work.
You make it sound like he "forgot" to get dressed.
A few times my son has "forgot" his work shoes and had to rush home or "forgot" his badge etc.
    It is easily done.

It's funny how everyone interpretted the "shove it" to mean that he left McD's..... The actual fact is he told them it was not worth him walking all the way home and back to get a T-shirt to complete a shift as there would only have been a few hours left. So he did not work that day. He's one of their best employees and gets lots of shifts. that's why I was surprised at their attitude.
Like I said they were not busy and it's an easy way for them save money by not having people work.

I just thought it was mean not lending somone a shirt for a shift! Like someone else said you change at work and sometimes you forget somthing and it's not always easy to go back home.

Grown men do it. Yesterday 3 blokes on my fishing competition forgot their bait. Left it 50 miles away in Plymouth....pretty stupid considering it was a competition..... So I made them go back and get it :rotfl: No seriously, we shared ours with them. Pity he won it too!

That might just mean they're either busy or short staffed!

A badge is different from a t shirt. And the shoes thing, how does one not realize one is not wearing work shoes?

No he just told them that he was'nt going to work that day... They obviously were not busy enough to lend him a shirt so he could work.

He's off to USA for 2 months and they arekeeping his job open. And yes they have no problem recruiting staff.

I will have to make sure he does not forget get his passport......
