    Hello again,

Rzl - completely agree - ive been 'man free' for over 3 years now, and im happy that way! One day, i might meet someone, but if i dont, i dont think it will ever be a problem!

Martyn - dont worry about our exs, that why they are now exs!!! would much rather hear about happy people!

scuzz - WELL DONE, and hope your mums arm will be better soon xx

Taplady - glad you had a good day at the carboots!

Vicky - sounds like Grandma is doing what one of my LOs does, he will cry when his mum goes, and as soon as the front door closes he stops, she is often waiting when we get home from school, sees him laughing and happy, but as soon as he sees her, he starts crying again!! She says she knows he has a lovely time with me, because hes always talking about me, its just a guilt trip he likes to put on her.

redruby - hope your leg will be better soon xx

Kathy - glad the sleep has helped you feel a bit better xx

Im sure there is loads ive missed out - so hugs to everyone xx

Not quite sure where today has gone, my lawnmower is definately broken, so ive had to use the strimmer on the grass - will need to get a new mower now, but will have to wait until the new LOs start. Will be having my weekly weigh in in a bit, not very hopeful today tho, ive eaten loads this weekend and not done much, but hopefully i wont have put any on.

Right, going to water my veggies, some seam to be growing, but a lot arnt, but never mind, if i dont try, it wont happen!!

    Have a lovely evening,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Evening all
I've had a busy day, we went to B&Q to buy a TV arial, as after the last high winds all we could watch was BBC 1 & 2, hubby & BIL fitted it, we had roast chicken & all the trimmings for lunch & this afternoon I've been sewing, I finished the curtains all bar a few inches of hand sewing, I'vealso made 3 more cushion covers & 4 bags, I want to carry on, but I know I'll regret it if I do, my hands are starting to burn, so they will be painful tomorrow.
BIL's been back to see his son & discovered that his ex has taken out more loans!!!!!
Hugs to PP, Smokey, Jayward, Candy, Janny, Mrs Mix, RR & GB.
Good news about the LO's Cat, I said it was all feast or famine didn't I.
    Have a good evening.
    Hugs Hester

Hi, I can't believe it's after 8.30, i don't appear to have achieved anything today.
I had a lie in, OH is still away, so there were no demands for a cup of tea. I eventually surfaced to find a disembowelled pigeon on the kitchen floor, suppose I should be thankful that it wasn't brought through to the bedroom for me. Pottered around for most of the day, and I have just made a batch of Twinks for my grandparents. I have of course tested several during the cooling process...for quality control purposes only. :D

Catowen, I'll do you a swap, OH bought a new mower before he went away, think he's trying to drop hints  but the grass is sooooo long, I need a strimmer. Shame I don't live closer, or we could do a deal
Hester, maybe one of her donkeys needed shoeing, I think you should ask BIL to fetch you one of the nags in exchange for rent, just think how many meals you could get from one of those, (as long as it's not a shetland) :D (I do actually love horses, having owned one for several years and yes, I have eaten horse whilst in France)

Hugs to those in need and I too like Chalky's idea of gentle thoughts wafting around the board.

Busy day today - the girls came over and have put all the flags and suchlike up in time for Holland's first match tomorrow - pics on my blog if you're interested.
dd(11) and I spent the rest of the day packing for her trip - because she has to take a sleeping bag and a pillow we have filled my enormous rucksack - heaven knows how she's going to cary it. Her dsis was meant to bring a wheely case over but it was at the back of her Cupboard Of Doom and she couldn't face it.
exoh on his way over with dd's waterproof which got left at his a couple of weeks back. He's going to be here at 5pm - goodness he's only four hours late so far. He asked me to get a pair of trainers for her which he is paying for - dd has to take two pairs for the trip. Got a pair from Asda for a fiver which he now won't pay for as they're not good enough apparantly - he's not seen them - it's just the price which is putting him off. If I'd told him they were £50 they'd be fine - oh beggar it! why didn't I do that in the first place!
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008

It is a shame, cos i do have a spare strimmer!!! My lovely friend who went to Oz gave me their old one (which is better than mine) because you cant take gardening equipment over there (Australia are very careful re the dirt or something, strange as they have more spiders and things than we do!!)

Forgot to say - had my weigh in, havnt lost any, but at least i havnt put any on - so fingers crossed for next week!!
