Yup, you and me both, :D:o , but as you said we have our beautiful children out of the relationship, so something good came out.

    Morning all,

Another lovely day here, got our bedding in the wm, and will hang it out in a while. Also need to do DD's school polo shirts, they are new ones the school are selling for £9 each  , they have the school logo on, and a blue band around the inner neck, I only got two as they were so expensive, but will have to get three more as she will need a clean one every day. Any way one of them has come home covered in dark chalk  , so hope I can get that out.

Did any one see DR Who ? it was brilliant, it reminded me of that book ' the time travellers wife' as I am sure that lady was his wife to be.

Leg is a nice mixture of colours this morning, blues blacks and purples, but it does not hurt unless I knock it.

Got a bit of beef for lunch, although dd said she does not fancy a roast, so might do mash, or cubed roasted with olive oil and garlic.
Tea will be help yourself, got plenty in, crackers cheese etc.

Hugs to all those in need, have good days all xx

Kathy, hope your cold is not too bad xx

Morning all, I have a chicken cooking, was going to have it for dinner but have been invited to a BBQ so that's tommorow sorted. Have made a mixed fruit pavlova to take to BBQ.
Yesterday DH and I asembled the new sofabed to go in double bedroom, it took a lot of head scratching and tounge biting, why do men tackle a job before reading instructions?

No one wanting to view the house to let yesterday, can't take bookings for tomorrow as we are going to DF's funeral. He was finally flown back to S/set on thurs. He was very popular and expect the church to be packed.

    Morning all

Been a while since I last popped in, so thought I would come and have a nosey to see what you're all up to.

I used up all my energy yesterday with a baking / batch cooking day, which was fun but left me exhausted. There's plenty of HM ready meals now though, waiting to go in the freezer, and DDs have their snacks done for the week, so it was tiring but productive.

Todays plans are to give the livingroom and stairs a quick going over, as they're not too messy, and clean the upstairs bathroom.

We're having roast beef for dinner, so that's now in the slow cooker. The BM and WM are both on, and there's a small pile of ironing to get through.

Other than that it's going to be a nice quiet day today.

Hugs to all who need or want one.

    Pipkin xxxx

Morning another nice day here me things weather wise.

Who mentioned spiders? A few weeks ago I was making the bed and one crawled out from under the bed it was huge. I grabbed all I needed for the day and shut the door. My OH could not find it and then yesterday, the same one (I know it was the same one) came crawling out from underneath the chest of drawers. I screamed and Oh moved it out once he managed to stop laughing that is!!

    My legs actually went weak!!

Quiet day today may go for walk at the beach and generally trying to motivate myself for the coming week. Bath needs cleaning and I did my ironing last night although I may need to do some more. When I wash my whites they often get darks scratch marks on them. Any tips to prevent these would be most welcome.

    Enjoy your sunday.

:hello: :hello: :hello: :hello: :hello: :hello: Hi. Waves to everybody.
I know I am ,and accept I am, a really sad person but I love it when I see my name in print so extra gentle thought to Ivyleaf especially about DH

Mr Chalky and I had the most wonderful day yesterday. We went to my last remaining Aunts memorial Service. She died aged 94 !!. We had lunch with cousins we rarely see beforehand and they made us feel so welcome. It was lovely. Saw pictures of my Dad when he was a child ( He died 10 years ago ) Quite emotional as my Mum and Dad divorced when I was young so have not got any pictures of him!

Then we went out for dinner with our son and his fiancee and watched the band they want for his wedding next May. They were great and had everyone up dancing so I hope they can book them. They gave me the paper to start the 90 + favour bags. Mioliere I will think of you.

Got home at 1.45 a.m !!!!! Love this retiring disgracefully!!!!! So had long sleep in this morning.

Very MS day here food wise as we are both absolutely full after yesterdays treats.

Well we are off to Cornwall tomorrow so will not be with all you lovely folks until next weekend and then we start the Grand retirement tour up the right hand side of Britain catching up with long lost but not forgotten friends and family.( Shame about the petrol prices as we have been plannin g this trip for years)

Anyway congratulations to all those celebrating especially in this beautiful sunshine and special gentle thoughts to all those who need them

Hi all - just a quick one from me. RedRuby - thanks for asking about the cold! It's given me a 'thick' head as I feel all bunged up. I don't really feel ill, not like I did at Christmas, but it's enough to make me feel a bit slow and lazy. Lemsips are helping, though, and I'm not getting any worse! I hope your canine injuries are getting better?

I have only skimmed the thread today because my eyes are tired so just want to send (((hugs))) to everyone.

The weather is lovely - DH is mowing the lawns and then we'll have lunch and I'll catch a couple of zzzzzs this afternoon.

Sorry I'm not 'mioliering' as usual - I'm sure I'll be back with a vengeance later!

    See you.
