Morning everyone,
the weather is beautiful! unfortunately i`m at w**k but today i`m where it`s right next to the windows and i can see outside - it really lifts my mood.
I`ll be home around 4pm hopefully and hope to do a bit more in the garden unless it`s really hot.
DH is going away this morning until Monday evening so no cooking a big meal, i`ll probably have something light for dinner later, maybe an omlette or something similar. The intended ironing has never been touched so i won`t say that i`m going to attempt it later as saying that seems to jinx me doing it and if the weather is really good i`ll be outside anyway:D
Off to catch up now.
Have a really sunny Sunday everyone.
SDPlanning on starting the GC again soon0 -

dh keeps commenting on my hair, keeps saying it suits me and this morning it said it was slimming, what the heck does he mean by that then:eek: said he was paying me a compliment!
had my hair done the other day and its bright red underneath with bits of red all over
right must get off

Morning guys, I don't normally post on this thread but I do lurk every now and then
I've got a busy day today; it was supposed to be a nice rekaxing day out but as the weather was so good yesterday I decided to pop to the allotment for a few hours instead of getting on with the chores. So I now have to get all sorts of things done before 10.30 when we're off to the Leeds Taste festival. As you can see I'm here and not cleaning / ironing / walking the dog, and what you can't see (I hope) is that I'm not even dressed yet! I am a lost cause - someone make me get up and work!!!
So today is likely to be a spendy day as I'm sure we'll be enticed to try all sorts of things. The organisers of the show are on to a real winner as you can't spend 'real' currency once you are there; they have their own which you must purchase on entry - so how many people are going to overspend today thinking they must get rid of the currency?
Anyway, I should stop moaning it's going to be a nice day weather wise, and I've been looking forward tot he show for a few weeks now.0 -
Morning all
Hugs to all who need one. REDRUBY ouch!
Don't know where the sunshine is, grey here again but not raining. Bbq was ok, OH went out drinking with his family and rolled in at 1.30am so haven't had much sleep as he proceeded to fidget and snore!
Trying to motivate myself to tidy up. Am finding mornings so hard and they always used to be the best part of the day, really annoying. Dineer is roast chicken, stuffing and veg. Rhubarb crumble from the allotment for pud.
Have a good day all.

Hi Y'all, bright and sunny here in the emids.
We are up early at Chez MATH due to Mrs MATH jumping out of bed and 7am, shouting "We've all over-slept!!!!!" She soon calmed down when I pointed it out that it was Sunday but, by then everyone was awake. LOL
I dog sat my Mum's aged Westie yesterday while she and Dad went out for the day, so I've got to curry favor with the cat today who is far from impressed with my lack of judgment:D. I'm hoping a tin of salmon and some ear scratching will do the trick! It still feels weird only having one cat after years of having 3-4 or 5. Not sure I like it yet.
Nothing much planned today. Church this morning and evening and maybe some lolling around in the garden with a good book this afto after I've done the ironing.
LUNCH
Lincolnshire Sausages
Roast Potatoes and Parsnips
Carrots, Peas, Broccoli
Yorkshire Puddings
Strawberries and cream
Hope the weather is as nice wherever you are - have a good day
MATH xLife's a beach! Take your shoes off and feel the sand between your toes.0 -

picked them up and saw a bit of fluff on them, tried shaking it and the fluff moved, it was a big spider:eek: everywhere i go they are there:mad:
It's because they are evil and can smell fear and then seek out the nervous - shudder
Dgs came over unexpectedly last night to help look after his Nana and to tell me that he thinks he loves me more than his hamster. dd(18) called yesterday afternoon to see if I would have him - i think she just wanted a break as she didn't look ready to go out. Dgs has told me that her horrid on-off bf is back and that he shouts at mummy.
The hanging of orange flags didn't happen yesterday - both dd's asked if they coud come today instead - dd(23) is definitely moving out again and picked up soem of her stuff yesterday - this time I will quicly convert her room into a sewing room before she changes her mind - mwaahaahaahaa

and of course ((((HUGS)))) to all in need. I like Chalky's idea of "gentle thoughts" - i can imagine them wrapping themselves round the recipients making them feel comforted
Just caught up on yesterday's thread!
redruby - oh dear your poor leg! (((HUGS))) At least you managed to stop your dog going for the boss's dog, which might have been very awkward though of course less painful.
Churchmouse - hope the party goes well, it looks like being a lovely day!
Quasar - nice to see you back!
Church this morning - would really prefer to give it a miss today but have some stuff i need to give to our priest to do with a collection for "Sea Sunday" so must go today - still, I can sit down throughout the mass if i need to.
DH had a blood test last Wednesday and then had a call from the surgery on Friday saying the doctor wants him to have a Glucose Tolerance Test, so it sounds as if his blood sugar was a bit high - I do hope he's not diabetic along with all the other things he's got to cope with:eek: Just have to wait and see.
Hope everyone has as good a day as possible.
Best wishes

morning all
Not read the thread yet,so hi and hugs abounding.
Need to make a couple of tops today, and might try and get some baking done. A friend of mine is moving house, so it might be nice to give him some goodies.
Unusually, I'm up before DH> I didn't roll into bed til around 1am (watching Team America after Stepford Wives) but i needed the bathroom and figured that i might as well stay up.
Breakfast - scrambled eggs on toast
Lunch - spicy couscous with peas and sweetcorn.
Tea - something from the freezer. Must go and stick my head in it for inspiration.
Right, best go find my wrist support (forgot to put it on and am regretting it now) and get on with some cutting out.
Have a lovely day all,
MethererNot heavily in debt, but still trying to sort things out.
