Please note that Martin's Link takes you though to the wrong web page where as Yorkshire Boy's is the correct one.
I've accidentally applied for the one with the 2% charge so may have to cancel.0 -
Do you have to print off loads of pages of T&M's and sign and return them? if you do I'd sooner go in a branch and do it.0

However, are you getting confused with the credit agreement at the end of the application process? Because I highlighted this anomaly earlier this week, when I said that the credit agreement produced was identical to the 2% fee condition normally associated with the "Barclaycard" application route.
If I'm correct in my assumption, I'd advise standing your corner rather than cancelling and wasting the credit search.0 -
I think the summary box is confusing.
It says there is a 2% charge in the fees section, but at the top it says there is no fee in the first 60 day introductory transfer window.
As long as you go via the Barclays website or in branch you should be fine, and if not, quote Martins message from Barclaycard and get them to refund any fee they charge.
R.Smile, it makes people wonder what you have been up to.

I applied for this yesterday and did not get what YorkshireBoy is mentioning.
The T&C I got at the last stage (before confirming) says 0% for 10 months with NO handling fee.
I still don't know if I have been accepted for the card yet. It doesn't look like they ever give an instant online acceptance.0 -

[i.e. You could, after all get a balance transfer on any 'new' Braclaycard at any time after opening it, and the rate would still run from the opening date, not the transfer date. [Or have I got that wrong?] A fee 'may' -remember that lovely word! - be charged at any time but is suspended if done in the first sixty days].....under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam0 -
Are there any issues regarding using this as an initial SBT i.e. is a balance transfer from your bank valid with this card or is this treated as a cash transfer?0

Looks interesting.
How generous are Barclaycard with credit limits?0 -

I know that this has already been dealt with further up, but I just thought I should add confirmation, as people may be put off.
Martin's link IS the correct one, in fact I think it's the same link as Yorkshire Boy's. The statement from Barclaycard was specifically based around the link quoted in the top post.
