There I was putting a hot chocolate in the microwave, watching it turn around and around until suddenly....it explodes! I still have some of it left but I lost half of it. I'm so sensitive today so I cried because I was really looking forward to it. :( Guess half is better than nothing though. It's one of those microwaveable galaxy hot chocolates from Tesco.

I slept a bit better than usual and feel a bit refreshed. Still tired though but my cold seems to be better which is good.

[[hugs]] to everyone who needs them.

A quicky, off to the Isle of Wight, pray no idiot spoils it, be it a rude person, my OH or son. The weather is meant to be good.

FG, sorry I went, but tried to get some zzzzz's. They sounded to be so rude, as the OP said, you were trying to get help but I bet she was horseface ugly and over 50 - they are worse than men for compassion, unless you are their age or a man, then you will get mothered or as some men will feel, smothered. There is a fine line, you want sympathy and support but when you get patronised or put down or ignored, it sucks!!

The service in the UK used to be dire, then it improved, now it is patchy again. I do wonder if it is to do with the labour party:D When I goto the States, I feel it is like the early 90s here and the service is far better, but there are some that slip thro the net but they are easy to deal with compared to rude UK people. More people are answering back which is unacceptable - they are wrong in the first place, don't dig deeper holes mate. I soon find someone decent to complain to and hope they get sorted. I found it really distressing last week the types of sh*te I encountered in my daily life.

I am feeling I am rambling on today, hope I don't offend anyone but once you get into a pattern, it seems to keep happening, I wish I could break the limiting pattern of feeling restricted by being female. The pattern of looking for work or looking for friends or improving your life, building yourself up, doing the best you can, only to be ignored or put down or rejected by idiots. This is why I get upset at people who can't do their job. I am bloody good and can't get a job that is half decent, it was the fact I was married and at childbearing age, then I had a child and childcare is a joke, then you are too old - I have heard it all. Females must stay single, and you can progress, men don't have to make that choice.

I could set up a business but feel I need better support from my OH. He doesn't say no you can't but when I need someone to 'help me', he fails me, I have to spell everything out to him and he can get aggressive if I flag and get upset by things or don't feel too good or he won't join me (pulls a blank withdrawing lemon face) when I feel good about myself which deflates and depresses me:(.

I wish I could wave a wand and make you feel better. You sound to need a better support system, one where you aren't turned away when you ask for help. I used to be like you, feeling ill and nobody, and I mean nobody could help in the way you need.

((((Big hugs)))) to anyone who needs them

That sounds scary, how did that happen?:eek:

I tend to boil a kettle with those powdered jobbies but reheat made tea and coffee OK in the microwave.

It's one of those liquid ones that has the plastic cap on and you take the cap off and pull off the foil tab, heat for 1 minute, sir and then heat for 30 seconds.lol. A Malteasers one exploded once. It gave me such a fright. I think what might have happened is that because I can't see properly without my glasses, I think I might have put it on for an extra minute instead of 30 seconds. I am so silly sometimes.lol.

I am going to attempt to use the phone today. A lot of you here will know that I have a phobia of using the phone.

Wish me luck. I'll need it.

    Morning everyone

Hope you enjoy the Isle Of Wight today, CC, and the sun shines for you.

FG, the way you were treated again is awful. I really don't know what to suggest. You are wanting help and no one is willing to give you it. I think I would just keep going to every doc poss, someone will eventually listen.

Morning LadyM, poor you only getting half your hot chocolate! But you're right, half is better than none, hope you day gets better!

Hi Katie & WG, how are you today?

    Hope everyone's day goes well.

    A x
