Soak it in vegetable stock (eg just bouillon) and it's lovely with pesto if you've got any, halved cherry toms, chopped mushrooms, a bit of olive oil, chopped nuts/pine nuts.0

make sure you add a bit of butter or similar at the ending as many people don't and it does make it much more palatable <G>0

I do lamb chops with fruity cous cous. The fruit is a mixture of whatever dried fruits i have needing used up, usually a selection from apricots, prunes, dates, raisins, sultanas, cranberries and blueberries. I counteract the sweetness with some chopped coriander and add a knob of butter.
I've also had it with roasted veg- a mix of aubergine, pepper, tomatoes, courgette, garlic and onion roasted in the oven in olive oil. Once the veg is cooked mix it and all the cooking juices through the cous cous.
It also tastes better made with either chicken or vegetable stock.0 -

Can anyone make any suggestions as to what I can do with a couple of packets of cous cous - keep it clean please!!!
I run a group at a day centre and I have to do wonders with this cous cous for tomorrow's lunch. It's not going to be a big lunch more a snacky affair.
Any suggestions for a last-minute kinda gal?!
Cheers

In terms of things you might have in already you could make it up with frozen mixed veg and chicken stock that'd be quite tasty.MFi3 member 105 - MFW date Oct 2023 - 12 years 9 months more0
