Please could someone explain how/why over 60's get the cheaper nail varnish?
Do they have to be a member of one of the Boots clubs or just have an advantage card and it's automatically deducted?"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being"."Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that"."True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".:rotfl:0 -

Evening everyone. I had a bit complicated shopping today, the results are good though, list as follow:
No 7 Lip & Eye Screen £5.75 (BOGOF hair spritz)
No 7 Stay Perfect Nail Milan £6.25
No 7 man’s wake-up face wash £6
Used £5 email cosmetics voucher, total to pay £13
Gained 1100 points :
250 (man’s GWP) + 200 (mag) + 350 (ACM washing & bathing) + 300 (ACM washing + bathing)
Ok, now the story:
Trying to resist the No 7 glitch for a long time as really don’t need any stuff. Just got a GWP from Estee Lauder last month (treated myself with points) and a GWP from Elizabeth Arden so not really interested in the lady’s GWP from No7. Y’day BF said the man’s GWP looks pretty good. I told him EFFECTIVELYwe can get it for £5 with four more items (£13 - 800 points), he finally said “ok get it” rather than criticising me being obsessed with boots:D
.
Anyway went to boots after work, picked up the above items (as suggested by an experienced bootser, sorry forgot the name), went to pay at the No7 counter. The SA was very cold, no smiling at all. She scanned everything (including the GWP) and told me it’s not £20 yet (£18 before I gave the £5 cosmetics voucher). She said just keep the items there and I can look around and get more, I simply took my stuff and walked away.
Exactly Same stuff, I took to the till upstairs (SAs there are normally very nice). This SA scanned everything, GWP went free (how mean is the No7 SA:mad: ). Also no problem with 200 points mag voucher and 250 man’s GWP voucher. But the ACM washing & bathing ones wouldn’t scan. As she doesn’t have right to override it. She took me to the photo till and asked that SA there.
The gentleman SA said the voucher is for lady’s range only, I said it didn’t say so on the voucher. He then said it’s till 24th May, I said no, it’s printed on 24th May but valid till 17th June. Again he said the two washing & bathing vouchers cannot be used together, I said then why they’re different bar code. Finally he gave up and added 650 points manually. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: The lovely SA was apologizing for the inconvenience even:A
BF said my arguing skills have significantly improved since boosting
BTW, my AC only gives me 350 points for No 7 washing. Today I took a colleague’s card as I wanted to print out the photo voucher (mine just disappears after I printed once). By chance I noticed her card gave 300 points for No 7 washing instead and the last digit of the barcode is different. That’s where this extra one came from. Hope this helps someone.
But still wondering though: is the washing & bathing voucher really for lady’s products only? Or it’s because of face wash, as I remember somebody bought hair&body wash and it worked?

The Health club is available to everyone to join. All members get 50% off a load of products.
People aged 60 and over get 10% off all Boots products as well.~ What goes around comes around ~0 -

Not a bad price for "ten" though, eh :rotfl: :rotfl:
PS Anyone new to this thread is going to wonder what the "self edit" we are talking about0 -
I was told today (after SA called CS) that the 300/350pts washing/bathing ACM voucher will not work on the Mens Face Wash as it is on special offer already with the 3-4-2 at the mo. Might have to revert back to buying another Hand Saviour perhaps, although with the ladies GWP out of stock now, the offer is not so tempting anymore...
Perhaps I just concentrate on buying a few more nail polishes instead until Saturday and save lots of money in the process.

Hi Hotpot I only pay 62p for the stay perfect nail varnish

85p for the colour miracle. I get 10% discount on all Boots products.
The great thing is the 10% is taken off the Full amount.
so £6.25 - 10% = £5.62 Less £5 voucher = 62p to pay.
I have bought loads of them too good an offer to miss at that price. :j :j
pollsdolls, I was wondering why you had such a large collection of nail varnish. Now I know why;) I would probably buy loads too If I could get them at that price. Well done to you:T0 -
