Note concerning magazines: have any of you taken brand new magazines to charity shops, and do they take them? I have a few Glamour that are brand new and "fresh" (this month's) - you can guess why!! - and would hate to recycle them straight away.
We have several copies of this months Glamour mag too, weird that, dunno how it happened :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

DD is a mag fiend, she'll buy anything that has a decent freebie I don't know where she gets that habit from, honest. She swaps with friends then when they've done the rounds they take them in to our library and swap them for yet more.
Also her school has mags in the school library and encourages the kids to bring theirs in to swap.
Not sure about all the charity shops, the big name ones round here don't seem to have mags although some of the smaller ones such as the hospice shops do.

EDIT: When I was nursing we used to welcome donations of magazines for the wards, not sure how things stand these days though with the MRSA precautions, maybe they don't encourage sharing of mags etc in the dayrooms. Might be worth asking though for anyone who regularly has them to pass on as I'm sure longer stay patients would appreciate them.

Did they take note of your ACM number ?

    Hi Amelia's Mum

I don't really know, she definately didn't take the number from the card as I had it back by the time she started listing the details, but it is printed on the voucher, so she may have?!?

Thanks, I admit that now I have figured out how to insert the pics I get a little carried away. LOL. I do know though when I first clicked on this thread I loved the pic posts 'cos I couldn't make any mistakes with those! I'm sure everyone can remember when I tried to get a NC bag only it was the wrong one! :o :rotfl:

I am really enjoying these vouchers; thanks so much pollsdolls  My 78 year old mum has put in an order for some Heavenly nail varnish and my teenage daughter adored the teal liquid eyeliner stuff. :D All the generations are happy at the moment. All of my nail varnishes are currently inside my NC bags too!

And they are all going to a good home and bringing loads of pleasure. We are all winners.:T :T :T

It's like having a licence to print money isn't it. :rotfl: :rotfl:

Sorry if I am being thick, but what does this mean about the quidco cashback??

    from quidco:
Please ensure you click through the Quidco link for EVERY unique Boots transaction.

Cashback is only available for the main Boots.com sites and not the subsidiaries listed under "Our other shops".

**EARNINGS ENQUIRY DEADLINE. Please make sure you submit your Boots.com earnings enquiry to us by close of play Tuesday 1st July 08. Enquiries submitted after this date will be marked 'processed'**

It appears that Quidco will no longer be giving cashback for Boots from 1st July so given that you cannot report missing transactions until 14 days later and they are not accepting enquiries from 1st Jul, it would seem sensible to place your order 14+days before 1st Jul so that the 14 days have elapsed in time for you to submit your enquiry - assuming it doesn't track that is, and I'm assuming my order will not track because the last one didn't!

Not sure about the bit where they say enquiries will be marked processed, TBH I'm new to cashback and not sure how it works when you have queried missing stuff.

Ooh how strange might have just been checking that numbers matched..will be interesting to see if anyone else reports this..a few shopping lists have been posted today but no other reports.

It might just be the manager tying to keep a check on the staff somehow as I remember someone reported ages ago that any points added manually had to be explained at the end of a day so maybe it might just be all points now?
This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.
