Was it just that thay didn't stock them or they had none left ?
I'll be going to Brom tomorrow armed with mine.
went into EP boots armed with no7 vouchers aiming to get nail varnish and they had none. I wasn't a happy bunny
    Like your sig.

Another day bootsing, sooner Im back to work the sooner the money saving will start :rotfl:

Today I managed to find the

botanics hair masks, 2 for £5 then used the 250 points.
    No 7 Consealer £2 using £5 voucher
    3 x yogurts 3 for £3 then £1.47 off
    reduced massage oil £1.25
    FCUK tanning moisturiser £1.50

Felt good at the time, came home and looked at all the goodies Ive got these last few weeks, then looked at the receipts and yes I have saved a fortune but I have also spent £100 on stuff that I didnt NEED and dont even know who exactly I can them to for birthdays and xmas!

Need to remind myself not to get carried away and just stick to the actual bargains, keep my money in my purse rather than obsessiong with building up points.

No 7 do make brushes, I have both of these but have not used them yet. But the quality seems really good

    They are: Blusher brush £8

If you use your Mum's card, you really need to be upfront about it before you give it in. Let the SA know that you are shopping for your mum and I cannot see a problem.

I have seen a young woman trying to pass the card off as her own, and it was embarressing even to watch. :o:o The assistant picked up on it straight away.

Thanks Pollsdolls (thanks button not working at the mo).

No foundation brush then? *ugger, will have to shop around for a decent one now.

I might get my mum to come shopping with me, doubt the SA will believe I'm shopping with for my mum if I'm buying the bright green liquid eyeliner! :o

Thanks Jellybaby, great illustrated list :T :T :T

Re the nail varnishes I have bought 24 total    (not all for me) Great for fillers for those NC freebie bags:j :j

Thanks, I admit that now I have figured out how to insert the pics I get a little carried away. LOL. I do know though when I first clicked on this thread I loved the pic posts 'cos I couldn't make any mistakes with those! I'm sure everyone can remember when I tried to get a NC bag only it was the wrong one! :o :rotfl:

I am really enjoying these vouchers; thanks so much pollsdolls  My 78 year old mum has put in an order for some Heavenly nail varnish and my teenage daughter adored the teal liquid eyeliner stuff. :D All the generations are happy at the moment. All of my nail varnishes are currently inside my NC bags too!

lol, yes I know what you mean about buying stuff that you don't actually need. This year I'm going to be the auntie/sister/friend who gives everyone bath stuff and cosmetics for Christmas, those Boots bargains make fab contents for hampers :D

The Botanics hair mask is a bargain at that price though, and with extra points too. It's the only conditioner I've used that doesn't weigh my hair down, plus it seems to stay clean for longer after I've used it, I'm going to stock up on this. Funny gloopy consistency though :rotfl:

    Hi all

Something strange happened in Boots in Oxford Street today. I bought Hand Saviour and used a 350pts when you buy an item from the Boots Wash Range (ACM Voucher) and also used 250pts when you spend £30 voucher (also from ACM). Neither of them beeped as I had spent £53 on prezzies for Mum's b-day and other No7 bits to get GWP, but the cashier took the vouchers and wrote the details down in a book that seemed to be pre-printed with boxes that she needed to complete.

Has anybody had this happen before?

I didn't use vouchers that I wasn't entitled to, so not really worried, but it just seemed to be a bit strange.

    Thanks

    Mel

today in picadilly circus, London I tried getting the lipgloss at £4.63 using the voucher and despite them keying in the code, the till would not accept it. One of the more senior staff told me I had to spend over £5 on N7 to get it to work. It worked on a nail varnish though.
As someone has mentioned, it seems to come down to the person in charge wanting to override the till. Win some, lose some.

Note concerning magazines: have any of you taken brand new magazines to charity shops, and do they take them? I have a few Glamour that are brand new and "fresh" (this month's) - you can guess why!! - and would hate to recycle them straight away.

Concerning the fragrance voucher: if you don't have one, keep your eyes open, since I got one today that someone had left on the shelf. Instead of buying a top-up to get a voucher I used that one. Felt a bit weird picking it up... but I know it will be destroyed. I once made the mistake of telling the SA that she could keep the sunglasses voucher and give to the next customer, since I had enough vouchers already. She just teared it up in front of me, since they could not keep the vouchers. Well, she could have told me. I could have given it to one of you gals or guys. I normally do that with the sainsburys active kids vouchers.
