Afterenoon gang, hope everyone is having a good day. Firstly can I say a huge thank you to Donny-Gal, redruby, Twink, Catzine and sunnyday for your kind wishes re Phoebe. We are still no nearer to finding out what exactly is the problem. She is quite well in herself but is having great difficulty in eating. I have been using a stick blender to do her food. The vet on monday came up with a possibility and she had a couple of injections DH then got some pate type food(ours are normally fed on dry food) which she was eating. Having watched he reat it seems clear to us that the problem is with her actully eating, but she has no bad teeth or apparent inflamation. The vet has asked us to video her eating:eek:  so I need to get either a video camera or mobile phone that can "film " was considering asking on freecycle but am not sure as the freecycles I am on are currently a parade of I want this, I need this, gimmie gimmie gimmie. Its getting ridiculious so may have a bit of a think.
Am making toad in the hole for tea tonight, with new potatoes, broccoli and onion gravy. Other than that just doing paperwork.

    Afternoon all

haven't been on all week as had w**k! yuk!!

rmac--I knew it!! hurray:j fab news :T I had the most horrendous morning sickness, infact it was hyerenersis, (where you can't stop being sick) spent most of ds2 pregnancy in hospital on drip, however I am sure yours will pass, but you have my empathy. The consultant told me that sickness is a good sign that everything is ok, it's the bodies way of protecting the baby, ie: you go of coffee, tea and strong smelling things etc...They has been research that too much coffee is no good whilst pregnant, so the sickness and everything smelly yuk is to protect the baby!

janny--just saw your post hope you are ok, take it easy xxx

just had 3 lush firemen round, they fitted me two smoke alarms free:T they are doing all the houses on our road today, prevention rather than fires they were saying, anyway it was a good job i had my pink lipstick on when they called oorhhh eeerrrr!!!:D :D:D

    love dorry xxxxxx

Chalky - wouldn't the dentist have been cheaper out here?

Anniestar - do you have a webcam - you could record onto your pc then put it on a cd/dvd?

lyndseyann - I think you are turning into a quiet flasher. !!!

Sorry got my Mrs fixit hat on - just been nagging Jayward too.

    Hi all :hello:

I really enjoyed Sex and the City last night, but having dropped my friend back at her house I didn't actually get home until 11.45pm. Normally I'm in bed by 10.30pm at the latest on a school night. Needless to say, I forgot to take the chicken out of the freezer last night, so the slow cooker is still sitting in the cupboard. However, it'll be a chicken stir fry tonight instead. Still using everything that I was going to bung in the slow cooker, though. ;)

My class did their "short writing" task today for the SATs. Some of them did brilliantly, and some of them didn't..................... ah well! However, I know that they all tried their very best. I told them that I could see steam coming out of their ears and smoke coming off their pencils. This form of motivation seems to work for them, bless them. :)

I had to quickly pop into Sainsbury on the way home and managed to come away with a few yellow sticker items. Not exactly what I had in mind, but I'll rearrange my meal plan for next week to ensure that I use store cupboard stuff. I also got some pork and I'm going to have to look for a slow cooker recipe to use it. I tend to find that I can't cook pork without it drying out, so surely bunging it in a SC will help me.

((((hugs)))) to all those that need one.

Hi, Thanks for your kind messages about my DH. Well we went to the hospital today for his tilt table test and he got on ok. We will have to wait for the results.

Found out yesterday that my FIL has got prostate cancer, he has got to go for further scans to see if it has spread to anywhere else.

Hugs to Betheebee, just try and keep strong xx

    Hugs to Candygirl XX

We had dinner at the hospital today, not OS I know but DH was hungry after not having anything to eat before his tests.

Speak to you soon, take care
