Ditto the hottentot fig, can be a bit of a thug. more amenable versions are available called Lampranthus, white/yellow/pink/orange and purple. Fairly half hardy and looks great as a mass on a rockery.

I wondered if anyone would be able to help identify a flower for me.

The leaves are green, soft to touch and quite thin. The flowers are quite small - pink/whitish - some with a yellow middle. They have a dried flower feel to them.

I would post a photo - but it won't let me do it.

Hope someone is able to help. :)

Could it be a rock rose?

Thanks for trying to help. It is neither of these. The flowers have a lot more petals and curl inwards. they feel very much like a dried flower when you touch them.

Is there a way I can a photo on. I have tried photobucket and it says I am not allowed to post a link as I have not posted enough times.

    Thank you.

Thank you, I tried that but it wouldn't let me get onto it.

I have posted the address to my photo, hope it works, need to take out extra spaces.
