You might have to look for Alchemilla Mollis = Ladies mantle.
It`s a lovely plant and it self seeds so before you know it you`ll have lots and lots of them all over your garden either to transplant to other places or give away to friends.Fully paid up member of S.A.B.L.E.

If you are picking it or cutting it back ...wear gloves. They have a milky white sap which can cause quite nasty skin irritation for most people.0

A weed by definition is something in your garden you don't want.*
One man's weed is another man's pride and joy
Some gardeners will actually grow dandilions for their tea. I recently found out it's a diuretic (makes you wee more often) remember the phrase as a kid, pick a dandylion flower, wet the bed... I think that might be where that came.
*The exception to the rule is japanese knot weed. You DO not want that.
I poured neat weed killer (one you normally dilute in a watering can) on this stuff and it still didn't die at my parents house.0 -
I'm not convinced this is wood spurge. It's a bit tricky to say as it's hard to tell the scale of the photo. Wood spurge is a plant of old woodlands, although there are garden varieties. Some spurges are the official "weeds" - plants of disturbed soil. This one might be cypress spurge, judging by the "leaves", which is an uncommon native species which has been used widely in gardens.0

I have this plant in my garden and it has self seeded everywhere.I like it but be careful - it may try and take over!0

I looked up Euphorbia on wikepedia and it does look like Euphorbia Cyparissias although the leaves are a little more rounded on my plants. It does take over, as hubby ripped it up last year thinking it was a weed and it still came back this year. It's under a tree in a shady part of the garden where nothing else seems to grow so not a problem at the moment.0

I'm sure I saw this in the woods today along with LOADS of bluebells....beautiful!!Ahhhh.... lemony fresh victory is mineee!!!0

How tall is it? Wood spurge is tall and doesn't have this many flowers and has quite large leaves.0
-
The tallest ones are about 12". They have one stem with lots of the spikey leaves on, and on the top there is a group of about 6 stems with the little flower on top..0
