    ohhh - thanks for this - I've had two of these spring up in my garden....
    Lovely looking leaves.....but just not in the middle of my flower patch!!

    It's a Euphorbia ..also known as Spurge. There was a feature on this family of plants in this week's Gardener's World.

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Euphorbia is one of my very favourites. There are different varietes, we have one like yours, and one with little burgundy eye. It is remarkably ''joyful'' and giving.

    If you love it you might like to look at things like green hellebore and lady's mantle too. :)

    Its a nice looking plant isn't it? They do a redish brown version of them too. I was very tempted to buy one on Sunday but I bought so many plants some of which haven't come yet
