YukkkI wouldn't do it....
(I sound like Cheryl before Wife Swap)
But seriously S_M, I reckon that's about all they do. The other 95% must be done by that army they take with them?0 -
You wouldn't get me doing it either S-S-G, I'm a compulsive hand washer and proud of it, don't like dirt and s**t in my house and I certainly wouldn't touch anyone elses, even if my life depended on it.“Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. Sorry, I had to read that twice. I thought you meant hand washing clothes
I hope you get better soon .... but it explains why you're a bit passionate about the subject.
Btw, I'm not a hand washer as such, but I'd never do what they do either0 -
I wonder if I should enter this

I'm not bad at home as I know it's clean but when you go out, public toilets give me the hebeegeebees but if you don't wash your hands after being to the loo, at home or when you're out then youre a dirty so and so. My little boy was out at the front of where we stay the other day and he fell on the step and I know the kid up the stair had p*ssed all over the step the other day, awww yeeeeuch. Threw him in Savlon antiseptic when he got in the door.“Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. In your soul are infinitely precious things that cannot be taken from you.” - Oscar Wilde0 -

That's one of my 'phobias' S_M, and why we had to give up caravanning, even though we had our own loo.
I hate public loos with a vengeance. Or maybe I'm just phobic? But apart from when it's absolutely necessary to spend a penny, as people do in a pub etc, I just don't go. Regardless.
As for spending more than a penny .....
..... it's a real no go area
I think me, you, and a couple of others, have problems so to speak ...
(Remind me not to slate Cheryl again lol)0 -

I don't feel so bad now. I don't care what people think about me washing my hands umpteem times a day, a lot of the time it's just really to freshen them up, I hate feeling grubby. Same goes for the kids, I hate clammy, grubby hands. I used to despise social dancing when it was Christmas time in school and you always got someone to dance with sweaty, clammy hands. Puke.“Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. In your soul are infinitely precious things that cannot be taken from you.” - Oscar Wilde0 -

I can just about bear having food on my hands, but I still don't class myself as a hand washer.
But I do like hand fresheners.
And teeth fresheners.
Air fresheners.
I wouldn't mind ..... but I'm a lazy cow
Glad you feel better though .... maybe we should start a 'phobia' thread? I bet, if it's ever let loose, we'd all be surprised at the responses0
