Cheryl, who spends 15 hours a day cleaning.

Options
This is from the Radio Times description of tonight's Wife Swap:
"..Cheryl, who spends 15 hours a day cleaning, switches places with Bess, leader of a motorbike chapter."

15 hours a day! Sounds a bit obssesive compulsive to me. Can't imagine what you would be doing either - unless you live in a 10 bedroomed castle/ mansion or something (and I assume she doesn't)

15 hours a day must mean that once you subtract sleeping, eating and cooking that every remaining minute of each day is spent cleaning!

My aim is to get the cleaning down to 15 minutes a day. With none at weekends of course.

Yes, I hate it too - in fact I am sometimes tempted to hire a cleaner for a couple of hours a week but never have, I think I would feel guilty or embarressed at the messiness and tidy/clean it all up before they arrived which kind of defeats the purpose! :)

I think I'll market it and retire from teaching!
  • But sometimes,I thinkit would be lovely to hire a cleaner to do those jobs you hate or get really really fed up of. I would have a cleaner to do my kitchen and bathrooms properly, hoover the stair and clean windows. After that, any spare time could be done doing whatever :)

    15 hours a day...................... :(
