    hoovering skirting boards

This is how I read this bit and then I did wonder what you did  Had visions of you pushing a dyson up and down the walls :D:D:D

I spend hours cleaning etc some days, but then I realise that sometimes I get too sidetracked by other things (here perchance ?) and waste lots of time.

Nothing wrong with running a tight ship is there divadee;) I'm nowhere near to your standard tho but I would guess I put in about 6 hours a day cleaning, cooking and laundry, meal planning, finances etc.
Mrs MATH claims my vac doubles as a life support and if I'm not attached to it for a couple of hours a day I will flatline.

I admit to vaccing the house daily. I used to do it twice daily but I've got a bit lazy in my old age and have trained myself to live with black/navy carpets and pale furred cats:eek:

My bathroom/kitchen are given a quick whip-over daily and and deep cleanse once a week.

I slat a duster about every other day (TV's everyday).

Towels changed every other day and beds once a week.

I iron bed linen but not towels, socks, pants or bras.

You've got my full sympathy Penny-Pincher. My friend had OCD and the lengths she went to constantly cleaning and recleaning things would make unbelievable reading.

no i hoover skirting boards daily/every other day and wash them weekly.

I wash the kitchen and bathroom floor daily or at the least every other day (i have one of those vax hard floor washes which washes and drys it)

    Polish daily.

    2-3 loads of washing daily.

Hoover daily sometimes twice a day if someones coming round.

then every day i pick a couple of little spring cleaning jobs that need doing eg. kitchen cupboards or wardrobes need sorting etc....
