Hey scuzz that's a great idea. I always make sure I have some money in my purse 'in case i need it' what I'd need it for I don't know, apart from to spend. I have loads of petrol in the car, credit on my phone...think I might try your way of thinking... thanks for the tip.

Hope it works ok for you. I use my debit card for petrol, as I know if I had the £40 in my purse it wouldn't get to the petrol station:rolleyes: And I use my pigsback boots vouchers to top up my phone. Good luck in not spending:beer:

I'm so sorry to post tonight but I need some help, I know that this is the OS thread and what I'm about to say should not be here as it's not OS. if there's a thread for pouring your heart out I desperately need to find it.

I have mentioned about my problem Sister and my younger DB who has been told that he has terminal Melanoma. He had the results on Tuesday.

My elder DB phoned tonight and told me he has prostrate cancer, he has had it for 6 mths. He kept that quiete. DB and SiL moved to Spain a year ago and I miss them so much. He went to hosp for a blood count yesterday and it has gone up. Don't understand what that means but I will do some homework and find out.
I can't belive what has happened in the last couple of weeks.

Please, if anyone knows of a place to post such dier posts, please let me know.

I can't bear any more. I really don't think I can bear anymore.

Thanks all for the sympathy re my interview

I did pop into agency afterwards donny-gal and state that it had cost me to go to the interview but girl who had arranged it wasn't there and they just looked at me like I was an alien. Think I may sign up with another and knock them on the head as last one they sent me for was a no-goer too, aparently after I had been they had office re-shuffle and didn't want anyone

I do have interview for a perm job next week and also a couple of applications out so am still hopeful :D

Beth - have just seen your post, doesn't matter if it is not OS you need to talk, have no experiance of what you are going through but if you just need someone to chat to please PM me, I will be online till late, have you got msn, cos you can add me and I will be there to listen, I went through a very bad time a few years ago with my mum having cancer and dad had heart attack and if it wasn't for my online friends (I did have 'real' friends, but sometimes easier to talk online) I don't know how I would have got through it. So am always here to listen to you xxxxx

Betheebee, this is exactly the place where you come & pour your heart out. I can't say anything particularly constructive to help you, but am sending you huge hugs. What a horrendous couple of weeks you have had, suddenly having all this thrown at you. All I can think of is that you need to remember to look after you amid all this awfulness and keep talking to us, to keep you going. There is always someone here, day or night.

((((((hugs)))))) Beth. You have posted in the right place, I can't give you any advice or practical help, but you have all our support and if you need to chat either on the forum or by pm, it isn't a problem. I view this thread as a place for friends-i feel we're all friends on here.
